Came here late tonight before they were closing with the intent on getting the turkey dinner but instead opted for the Cajun steak. Started off with a coconut blueberry Casa blanco marg and the bartender/server Deanna I believe her name was did her thing with it!!!! 10 stars for that marg girl! While the steak was good and had no fat on it I I didn’t taste any Cajun seasoning whatsoever. I did really enjoy the onions underneath it though as I’m an onion lover! The mashed potatoes and the corn were cold but I took them home with me knowing that I could heat them up in the microwave. My friend enjoyed her turkey dinner. We will definitely be back in the future since my friend could not stop raving about the clam chowder they have here and I really want to try the fish and chips as well! See you guys again soon for another delicious margarita and hopefully an even better dinner!

Went on a Saturday night – after 7:30 – not very busy – started with holiday themed cocktails- they were tasty. Apps of French onion soup and Mozzarella sticks – crock was on the small side but the soup was tasty. Main course was the prime rib special and chefs choice burger – both were cooked to our order. Prime rib was good quality and served with Au Jus. Would recommend the hand cut fries. Meal was served promptly – with the mains coming out after the apps. Server was excellent- attentive but not annoying. Didn’t leave room for dessert.
Dining room was well lit and clean – with 80’s to current day music playing. Family friendly- good quality food and service.

I used to think Roast House was one of Pawtucket’s hidden gems — I even left a glowing 5-star review a year ago. But after my latest experience, I can say without hesitation: this place has slipped hard, and it’s now part of the bigger problem with Pawtucket’s food scene.
I ordered a tuna melt. What I got? A wet, soggy sandwich stuffed with a can of tuna. No melt, no effort, just sloppy and careless. My brother’s chicken meal? They forgot the fries entirely. The blue cheese was there, so I thought we were good, but nope — another letdown.
This is the pattern in Pawtucket: restaurants that don’t care, food that doesn’t match the price, and customers left shaking their heads. Roast House used to be a place I trusted — now it feels like they’ve joined the wave of mediocrity dragging this city down.
Pawtucket deserves better than this, and customers deserve meals that match what they ordered. Right now, Roast House is not it.

Where do I even begin about THIS adventure?! Our hostess was nice and that’s where the good service stopped. My boyfriend and I ordered two drinks, a water and lemonade, an appetizer of mozzarella sticks and two dinners. The mozzarella sticks were brought out on a plate with a few scraggly bits of lettuce and three of the sticks had exploded in the cooking process. Already we were off to a bad start. We waited for 45 minutes for our meals to come out. While waiting or server never came by to ask us if we needed a refill or to update us as to why the food was taking so long. During this time I watched three other tables leave. These tables were NOT cleaned up or wiped down after the patrons. Since we are in the middle of a pandemic this is absolutely unacceptable! When our food finally did arrive I did ask for another drink and our server forgot to bring it over to me again. My burger was a frozen patty and bland. My boyfriends food was salty and seemed as though it was reheated. The bathroom here is an experience all in itself and gave us a great laugh after such a terrible meal. When it was time to pay the bill, the server took my card, then walked away to another area instead of coming back over to me, started talking to herself and then brought it back over. We were perplexed. I do not recommend this place to anyone that wants good food. Go somewhere that cooks from scratch and cares about their cleanliness and how their patrons are affected or could be affected by a deadly virus. This isn’t the n place!

I don’t leave reviews often but this is well deserved. I have been craving mashed potatoes & gravy and ordered online from here for the first time today. I plated my food and let me just say it was some of the best mash and gravy I’ve ever had. I can’t wait to come try out the food in house!

I remember The Roast House from when I was a kid when they were in the RI (midland) mall and it was amazing then. It’s still amazing now. I had the roast beef dinner with a baked potato and Omigosh, egg plant fries – PHENOMENAL! They give you marinara for dipping them but honestly you didn’t even need it! My fiancé had the burger of the day, and he’s very picky about his burgers and he loved it! Our waitress was super cool, her name was Cee-cee (spelling?) Amazingly personable, the food came out quickly and just as we ordered it. Definitely coming back. I didn’t even know we had this little gem still in RI but I’m so glad we do! Also, it was like an inferno outside but the climate inside was perfect – cool and comfy. TRY THE EGGPLANT FRIES!!!!!!!!!

For the quality and look of the food that they provide us it DEFINITELY WAS NOT WORTH $89 WTH is this water ? And to top it off we asked for mashed potatoes and gravy and they gave us this instead it looks like French onion soup? but even the soup looks ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING, it looks like throw up. We had an event to see a local community theater company and had a wonderful experience in this Pawtucket institution. The warmth of the staff was evident from the moment we stepped through the door. It was obvious that people returned here often as they were treated like neighbors! The food was fresh and flavorful! Strongly recommended, and we will return!

Been here a few times home cut fries are the best. Food is really good drinks are great. Don’t forget the dessert yummy. And the server we had was excellent. I believe her name was Destinee.
