In 1967, we opened our doors in Abilene, TX to share fresh, authentic Mexican food. Now, almost 52 years later, while the other guys have turned to packaged and processed foods, we’ve stayed true to our roots by crafting authentic recipes in each of our kitchens. Honestly, this bueno regularly disappoints. Every time we go there during the day, they put so little toppings on tacos that there’s really not even a point. Nighttime seems better, but I’m done even trying to during the day. Today, our party taco had almost no meat or cheese and didn’t have any lettuce. The regular taco we got were cold, and the chicken potato burrito had overcooked potatoes in it.

Whoever was in the kitchen today DID NOT feel like making any chicken clearly. Besides the 2 pieces of chicken u see in my first piece of my quesadilla I had 2 more throughout the whole quesadilla! Not worth $11 that I paid for the combo! Do better

I recently tried both the beef and chicken tacos at Taco Bueno, opting for a mix of soft and hard shells. The tacos were pretty good! Both the beef and chicken were perfectly seasoned, making for a satisfying meal. The hard shells had a nice crunch, while the soft shells were fresh and tender. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, and I’d recommend Taco Bueno for a quick and tasty taco fix.

I had ordered two crunchy taco’s. When I was getting ready to eat them I noticed there was hardly any meat in them. I went on to tell them there was hardly any meat and the guy said sorry that’s all we can put in it. I’ve never had that issue here before and I was also amazed how dirty the floor was and food everywhere. I will never come here again shame for n you guy’s for ripping people off.

I understand why people have given this location such terrible ratings, but I’ve never had a bad experience here. I spoke with the general manager at the drive-thru window and they have trouble keeping good, reliable people (it was past 10 pm and he’d been there since 8 am) in a fast food environment; understandable.
This has always been one of the best locations in the OKC metro area for me (been over 10 times).
Anyway, all the food was spot on and beautifully prepared. The carne asada soft taco was great.

Absolutely terrible service staff was not taking orders at the drive thru at in line for 20 minutes with one other car in line. Drove up to window to get order taken and the Mgr Colby was very rude and told me a has to drive back around again to order and said it was because they were slammed… two cars total on the parking lot. Other staff members saying there pants down to there knees. Being very rude and let me know they would take my order if they weren’t busy. Colby did nothing to help resolve the situation as manager. Finally just drove off after wasting 20 minutes

I went there today. They got the order right, it was quick. The whole restaurant needs serious cleaning. There are dirty tables, floors, windows, window panels…dead flies everywhere. Yeah, it could use some serious elbow grease.

Usually pretty good about getting my order right which is only ever my main complaint with fast food places, but what irked me into making this is the fact that my calls were declined 3 times in a row when calling to say my burrito was made with sour cream, something that had no issue on the other burrito of the two i had ordered as the other burrito in fact did not have sour cream.

Asked for all soft tacos on the family deal at 6:17pm on September 22nd the guy taking orders Rudly said they can’t do only soft tacos. ‘nah we don’t do that’ like I get it’s busy but there is no need to be rude. Lost a customer for this location and anyone else I can turn away from this location. Take care of your employee please
