Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Waited over 40 minutes and they brought out cold fries and dry patties. People who came after us got their food before. Very unprofessional these workers need training. Patty melt didn’t have onions and the cheese was very cold. I’d be fine waiting 40 min if the food came out good but no.

Ordered double patty and got single patty had to go tell them and ordered no mustard,got mustard,wanted everything else lettuce and tomato didnt get it, didnt order plain with Mustard, this place is a mess.I told them dine in they did a take out bag . very slow and wrong orders. Waited 10 min to order another 5 to fix order still got hamburger like below . Manager need to double check on customer service for sure . We were trying to get in and out. I understand as I’ve worked in the food industry that accidents happen but there was no urgency to correct their mistake in placing my “for here food” to go and causing my party to wait thus giving us cold food. I requested at least fresh fries for the mistake but watched them place the same order that was in the bag onto the tray. The manager/shift lead didn’t bother to correct there wrong and I will no longer be returning to this location. 🙁

Stopped here while traveling, only because all my friends have been recommending it. Im so happy i ate here and my family loved it two! Sauces on burgers are unique and Good. Spicy Ketchup was amazing i cant believe i haven’t seen it before. Ingredients were fresh and good size burgers. Friendly and great attitude staff, cared about making things right and kept working hard on a bussy eclipse day.

We went well out of our way on Highway 84 to visit this Whataburger (because I love the chain), but pretty much regretted it. Service was slow and the tables were filthy. There’s a big difference between a well-run Whataburger and what we experienced here. And I couldn’t even bring it to Whataburger’s attention – the survey link didn’t work!

I’m giving service 1 star because I patiently waited for nearly a hour for my food which was just a double meat burger, other people beside us were getting their food first but that isn’t fair to them because they won’t be able to get out until the people infront of them move, by the time they get home their food will be cold.
When I finally got to the drive thru window I got my money to give to the lady who totally ignored us. Somebody should be working the switchboard and somebody should be working the window.
I drove off without Getting my food after waiting about an hour.
Edit: I returned to eat here again and my experience was the same. Waiting an hour for the staff to finish cooking, one of the workers even approached me and asked me if I needed something and I just said “ I’m just waiting for my order to be ready “ then he walked off not saying anything.
I don’t know what happened after this place has been renovated but the new staff aren’t great at their job. Management needs to look into this terrible service and slow orders because this is just ridiculous and unprofessional.

Went to the drive thru and ordered a patty melt with large onion rings and medium sprite. Got to the window and they gave my food to the car in front of me because he ordered a patty melt with fries. By the time they got it figured out and fixed my food was cold and tried to give me the other cars drink (root beer) even after knowing they messed up. Plus my large onion rings was only half a container with 8 onion rings in it just as cold as the cold patty melt. The sprite was horrible and tasted like it was out of the mix or the machine was empty!? I had To dump it out because I couldn’t even drink it!

What I saw yesterday at this Whataburger was Total Laziness and Not Taking Ownership and Control of this place !!!
Excuses and More Excuses when I confronted the Manager.
My Burger was okay and My Fries were Cold and Very Chewy and I paid over $3.00 for them… Do you think that the managers would be happy paying for them?
No !!! But they don’t care.
They had a Stack of Trays that were Dirty piled up and nobody was cleaning them, Instead they were serving the Dine in People their food in Bags !!!
When I asked the Manager about it he said they were backed up… The Manager before him left them for him, I know I was there to witness it.
C’Mon get it together and Really care about your people!!!

This was just a casual place to come eat while waiting for the star wars movie to start, right off the bat I noticed their soda machine was excessively filled with ice. After tasting the root beer I understood it was mostly carbonation. Although after acquiring my meal I was filled to the brim after one burger and halfway through eating it the ice problem was resolved

This location felt like a Bass Pro Shop inside, probably because it’s located right next to one. The service from the staff was outstanding. Everyone was efficiently carrying out their duties in a well-coordinated manner. Other locations have been a mess, especially when it comes to app orders — I’ve never been able to pick up an order on time. But the service here was different. I received everything I ordered right on time.
