Ordered our food to go we weren’t there before pick up time and food wasn’t ready, we waited another 15 minutes then when we got home 1 mile away it was all cold. Crappy food for 61$ wont be ordering from them again. And definitely won’t be recommending. Terrible.

I absolutely love this place. I have become a regular and the staff goes out of their way to take care of me. When they see me pull up my table is ready before I get in the door. My favorite beer is already on the table and today they even had my usual order already cooking. They make me feel like a VIP. It does not get better than this!

The restaurant itself inside is very authentic and the food matches just that. I was a bit disappointed in the flavoring of the food as it didn’t have much spice or sweetness. It was a little bland in my opinion. I typically get sick off of restaurant food, and as of now, hours later I am feeling completely fine. So like any restaurants it has its pros and cons. But you cannot go wrong with eating here, it’s not bad food. The staff is nice which is always enjoyable. FYI they do birthday celebrations if you tell a staff member it’s your birthday, they sing for you and give you a little something.

Good food not real flavorful had to ask for their homemade hot sauce which was fabulous!!

We came here to celebrate with some friends and will add photos…
The atmosphere is perfect and is a great place for friends to come together. If you want a little privacy or if you come in larger groups there is room.
The place is very clean in the bathrooms too!!
When you walk into this place, you’re always greeted very well and they are friendly!!

Adrian is rude, argumentative, and really not great with customer service. My family frequents this restaurant weekly and I came back to ask my order to be fixed- that was apparently not an option.
My dad placed the order for Steak street tacos no cilantro, Adrian asked him if he wanted cheese, lettuce, and flour/corn tortillas. Why? Not sure.
Honestly, not a big deal, but when I brought it back I asked if he could please fix it. He tried telling me it’s what we ordered and that’s what the menu says. So I picked up the menu and showed him what my dad asked for and told him I’ve never been asked those questions while I’ve ordered this because the menu clearly lists out the ingredients. He continued to be rude, when I called him out on it he tried to play the no no no- I’m not being rude. I gave him the box back because I didn’t want it, it’s not what we ordered. As soon as some coworkers came up- he tried to switch up his energy. Nahhh my guy. I just simply asked you to make the order correctly and you just wanted to argue and try to tell me that’s what the menu says.
You had an opportunity to make it right or help me come to an understanding, but instead we just wasted money on food we didn’t even eat. Not impressed and thanks for making a scene instead of resolving a simple fix. Terrible customer service.

I always go to the Neenah location but decided to give this one a shot. There were a few differences I noticed but overall it was really delicious and the waitstaff was very friendly.
They also offered us extra chips once we finished ours and normally that doesn’t happen for me at the other El Azteca.
I still think the Neenah one is probably my fave but it’s great to know there’s a runner up if I’m on this side of Appleton.

Good music, cool atmosphere, family friendly restaurant. The servers could be a bit more enthused and the Mens bathroom could use a little TLC but the food was delicious and delivered surprisingly fast.

I’m definitely a fan of traditional Mexican restaurants but this was rather disappointing.
The chips, bean dip & salsa appetizer were the only thing I enjoyed. The bean dip was very hot and the salsa was good too.
I had a combo plate of a hard shell taco and enchilada (ordered a tostada got an enchilada). Wait staff was very nice but said the number I ordered was what I got. I had to remind them to bring the side of sour cream I ordered.
The rice and beans were not very hot and the beans had lima beans from possibly another meal option straggled about in them? Both rice and beans were definitely very lackluster. The insides of my taco and enchilada didn’t seem very warm either and the beef was possibly re-heated a few times. It had that leftover taste you know?
I had my son with me, he ordered a cheeseburger because he didn’t feel like Mexican, it too wasn’t very inspiring. All the burger toppings were on the side, except the cheese. I won’t take points for this meal though, it’s a Mexican restaurant not a burger joint, and he enjoyed the fries.
We ordered Jarritos Mexico soda, did you guys know it comes in plastic bottles?? Who wants a Jarritos soda in a plastic bottle? Definitely a disappointment for me. It’s all about that cane sugar goodness in a cold glass bottle. Plus, they bring it out warm and give you a glass of ice. I didn’t end up drinking mine.
I am in no way a germaphobe…but I have to be honest, the many layers of clear lacquer table (with awesome design underneath) felt a little sticky. Not the sticky that goes away either. They need to be refinished or something….
I don’t usually rate a restaurant so low but for the first time in a long time I am. I’m not a Karen, I didn’t complain, still tipped the waiter a decent tip. He was very attentive and polite. It’s just not somewhere I feel like I need to revisit.

Food is always good. We get 2 to 3 meals from a single fajitas. When busy the service is a little slow but overall a good Mexican restaurant.
