Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

For some reason every single Whataburger location in BCS has issues getting Apple pies into the to-go bags. I stopped ordering them a long time ago because we NEVER receive them. Last time I ordered one was months ago and it was missing. Finally gave it another shot tonight (ordered 2) and what do you know, missing an apple pie. I guess the trick is to order 2 so you at least get 1. I also got the wrong cheese on 1 burger, and was charged $1.29 extra for grilled onion and pepper toppings, and whoever slapped that burger together was extremely stingy with it. I basically paid $1.29 for 2 pieces of onion and 2 small slices of peppers. Extremely dry/overtoasted bread too. Rarely go to any Whataburger in BCS because we have an issue every single time, this is probably the last time we’ll eat here.

I’ve eaten Whataburger before, but this was my first time actually going inside -and it was a great experience. The lady working the counter was incredibly kind and welcoming, which made the whole place feel warm and comfortable. The food was fresh, hot, and tasted amazing. Everything about it just felt good. I’ll definitely be coming back, and next time I’m bringing my family with me.

This Whataburger has been the best customer service I’ve experienced in quite some time. After I ordered my food, an employee hand delivered my food, and asked if I needed extra ketchup or anything else. Then, as I was eating my food, the manager on duty also came around to check on me, making sure I had everything I needed in a very friendly manner. 5 star review for this above and beyond customer treatment, and above all – the fries were extra crunchy!

Went today during breakfast in the drive thru and Miss Kay was incredibly nice! Despite it being really busy she made sure to check through my bag and asked me if i needed extra ketchup or napkins. I felt bad coming through seeing how packed the drive thru was but she took extra time with me and made the experience worth the wait! Order was correct and the pancakes were delicious! great staff

By far the worst Whataburger I have ever been to. The manager Brandi was down right nasty and rude. My burger was made wrong so I brought it to her attention. She acted like I was being a big inconvenience to her to begin with. I do not like onion or tomato and they had both on. I watched her take my burger and just take the tomatoes and onions off and re-wrap it. Then gave me my burger with such attitude and jumped right back into making other burgers. Didn’t even bother to change her gloves. By far the worst customer service I have ever received. She really needs to be trained properly on customer service. And how to act professionally. Screwed up kiosk refused to print receipt or verify order was placed, only found out after the order came out. Disappointing chicken sandwich, soggy and bland fries. A sauce based restaurant that never heard of seasoning. Not worth the money.

Today we came in and were greeted from start to finish. Food was fresh and everything was on point. Restaurant was clean and stocked with everything we might have needed. We met Mrs Joanna and it was a pleasure meeting her! Would definitely come back to this location.
