The atmosphere was so nice! There was a man playing the piano. Alexis the manager was so warm and Inviting checking in us several times. My server Lay was so nice and took very good care of us m. She checked in on us four or more times. the food was amazing the corn bread tasted crispy like chicken and melted in your mouth. My pork chops so tender and crispy on the outside the okra fried crispy just the way I love it! Everything including the atmosphere was perfect.

Aye! We came into town for a concert and decided we need to support our own by only doing black owned businesses. Our hostess Alexis was welcoming, patient and so sweet. Our waitress Katina was honest, helpful with recommendations, quick, and so cool. The atmosphere was warm and babeee when the live singer started, we were in heaven. Lastly, the food was amazing. We give it a 5 out 5.

Alexis ( aka Tasha from power ) was behind the bar slinging drinks like Wesley snipes was slinging crack in the movie new Jack city . Taking orders , doing dishes , and still entertaining guests. All while I could tell she was stressed . There was another server there named Latrice, and I’m sorry I butchered that I’m sure . She wasn’t even my server , but she kept checking on me making sure that I had everything I needed . Food came out hot , and fresh. The vibe is always great , and so is the food !!! If you haven’t ate there go check them out and ask for Alexis ( aka Tosha)

This was my first time here and I would definitely be back. The service started on the phone- I called to see if they were busy and they fretted me so cheerfully and professionally. When we arrived we were sat immediately and the food came out extremely fast. It was really good and had great portion size.

Awesome! Everything we had was very good. We had fried cornbread, the soul food sampler & fried pork chop dinner with rice and gravy and green beans. We were hesitant about trying the green beans because they were made with turkey. Don’t be! They were incredible! All fried food was done well. I would definitely eat here again! Parking is tough, but expected downtown.

Sometimes things just come together. Literally could not find a place to either park or eat while visiting on a Sunday in Cincinnati, so we drove to Columbus on our way home. I happened to Google places to eat in Columbus and Soul To Go caught my eye. The best hour and forty minute drive of my life. Upon finding parking streetside about a block away, we entered a walking alley where Soul To Go deceives you. It appears a nice, street Cafe or carry out. And then you enter. The decor is beautiful, the staff melanin and pleasant. There was a full bar, live music, a keyboardist on the Gospel hour. The owner even sang, whom we did not know was the owner until the conclusion of his magnificent solo. We haven’t even spoken of the cuisine yet. Divine in texture and preparation. Soul Food Gourmet in every essence. We started with an sampler platter of chicken, greens, yams, and macaroni and cheese. This was incredible. I got the liver and onions. Incredible in every sense of the word. Soul To Go is clean, beautiful, lively, and delicious. The service was exquisite, namely our server T. She was exceptional. We will travel the two hours to Columbus regularly to visit this beautiful Gem of dining and experience. I wish I could give them 10 stars.

First Timers trying out Soul 2 Go. This was a last minute decision but one of the best we’ve had recently. Service was great, she helped us to navigate the menu and gave suggestions on popular items. We had to try a little of everything to be able to fully give a 5 star review, so glad we did. Parking wasn’t the best but it wasn’t a far walk; plus today was beautiful. Great location, close to everything. We tried the whiting fried fish, fries, red beans and rice, slaw, cubed steaks with rice and gravy, mashed potatoes, collard greens and mac-n-cheese. My husband also got a chocolate soul cake. They said they sometimes have karaoke, live music and they allow reservations for large groups. Very comfortable atmosphere. The restrooms were extremely clean too, so that’s a plus. Next time we’ll bring more people because we loved it!

The vibe was perfect and so was the food. It’s a 20/10. You should start with the fried corn bread app. The red beans and rice, corn bread and Mac and cheese were the best I’ve ever had. You should get the sweet potato pie or pound cake too. If you’re in Columbus this is where you should eat, you will definitely be glad you did.

This has been my multiple times coming to Soul 2 Go and the food and atmosphere has been top notch. The food was ordered and everything was delicious. Alexis the bartender was very friendly, outgoing and a professional mixologist. I brought 2 new people and they enjoyed everything.
