To begin, we ordered the crab cakes, and they were outstanding easily the best we’ve ever had. My wife grew up in Florida, so we’ve had our fair share of seafood, and these exceeded expectations.
For my entrée, I ordered the bison ribeye and took the recommendation of our wonderful waitress to have it cooked medium rare, even though I typically do not prefer rare steak. I’m so glad I followed her advice. The steak was tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. My wife ordered the sirloin steak, and it was equally delicious. The sweet potato was also excellent and complemented the meal perfectly.
For dessert, we shared the crème brûlée cheesecake, and it was phenomenal the perfect ending to a fantastic meal.
Overall, Bama Bucks delivers an exceptional dining experience. The quality of the food is outstanding, the prices are extremely reasonable, and the service is top-notch. I highly recommend giving it a try. 10 out of 10 we will definitely be back.
The mashed potatoes had a unique taste that might not be for everyone. If you’re particular about your mashed potatoes, just keep that in mind.
The atmosphere is really nice — rustic, comfortable, and fitting for the setting. Service was fair and everything moved along smoothly.
Overall, good food and a solid experience. I’d come back, just with a slightly adjusted steak order next time.
I ate Elk steak with Mac and cheese & a salad. My sister had hamburger steak, Mac and cheese, sweet potatoe . We also got the sausage trio appetizer it was wonderful. All was great food. I think next time ill try the fried Quail . Prices I thought were very reasonable based on the food and service and atmosphere. I was blessed to have gotten to eat there.
Keep up the great service & food and prices . That’s the toughest thing to continue to do with any successful business.
No exaggeration.
The bison steak was hands-down the most divine meeting my body has ever encountered. Absolute perfection. I asked our incredible server, Shamira, what she recommended, and she casually said, “The bison steak.” Real subtle. I almost brushed it off as a normal suggestion or product push—but something about the way she said it made me pause and actually listen.
I am so glad I did.
Please—do not hesitate to trust the recommendations here. This place has officially trumped every steakhouse I’ve been to before, and that’s saying something. For reference, I’m a 325-lb man who has eaten all over the world —and this still tops the list.
If you’re on the fence: don’t be.
Order the bison steak.
Thank me later.
Also has a ton of wild life to go look at before or after the meal! Again I have to thank Shamira for not only the recommendation but the awesome service she performed handling our table! She was on top of her game!
Enjoyed the $5 stroll to see the animals.
