I’m honestly really disappointed and frustrated with our experience at Señor Taco Mexican Grill & Bar. What should’ve been a nice dinner turned into a long, irritating wait and a meal that was way below expectations.
It took over 30–40 minutes just to get basic chips, salsa, guacamole, and “queso.” And when it finally showed up, the so-called queso was literally heated-up Tostitos cheddar dip — not real queso by any stretch. It honestly felt lazy and a little insulting. The guacamole tasted great, but the portion was tiny, like a sample instead of something you’d actually share.
My Birria burrito was decent, and my girlfriend’s shrimp taco bowl was fine, but after waiting that long and dealing with disappointing sides, it was hard to enjoy. The service was mediocre — not rude, but not attentive either — and overall, the whole experience just felt careless.
We left feeling let down and annoyed. For the prices they charge and the way they advertise themselves, I expected so much better. Definitely not worth the time, money, or frustration.

It’s a okay Mexican place from an Indian coming from NJ. I have been to better Mexican restaurants. Service and food was also okayish. Was sitting outside..live music was very loud, even upon requesting more than few times it was not lowered enough.

The entrees’ portions are generous, price is reasonable. Churro is awesome, flan is ok. A lot of people go for their happy hour drink specials even on weekends.

My families experience in this restaurant was filled with nothing but laughs and welcoming arms, and it wouldn’t have been the same without Michael as our server. He was super friendly and attentive to our satisfaction the entire time we ate. Our food came to our table swiftly and tasted out of this world! Overall, Michael is truly an amazing person and we will definitely be visiting again soon to pay our guy visit!

I had an absolutely wonderful experience thanks to our waiter, Michael. From the moment we sat down, he was attentive, friendly, and professional. He made great recommendations, checked in at the perfect times, and had such a positive attitude that really made our meal even more enjoyable. You can tell he genuinely cares about providing excellent service. Everything ran smoothly, and his attention to detail didn’t go unnoticed. Michael truly went above and beyond—definitely one of the best servers I’ve had in a long time!

Placed an order for pickup at 5:05. The restaurant confirmed the order at 5:07. It said the order would be ready at 5:30. Small order. Just a senor box. I got there at 5:30 and they only the. Just started the order once I was there. After another 20 mins of just standing there, waiting. I asked and she said another two minutes. 6 minutes later, I ask again as I now have to leave to be on time elsewhere. They proceed to tell me another 4-5 minutes. The. She points out to the guy, it was my own order I was there to pick up not a dasher. As if they didn’t care about making a dasher wait. So in the end, they were unable to make a sampler box within 50 mins. Never started the order till I was in front of them, and likely pushed other orders in front of me thinking I was just some dasher waiting for another order and not picking up my own. They would have happily kept me waiting there being ignored as long as possible if I wasn’t asking where the food was. Absolutely terrible experience.
