Very pleasant folks and a small, well stocked, combo grocery/restaurant with surprisingly good food. Small but diverse menu of items, specials, even ice cream at the ready. Good prices and fresh made food brought out hot and quick. Definitely my lunch spot whenever I’m in Bennington.

Great small town diner and store. Good place to get some items without driving all the way to Salina. Food is really good. The kitchen closes at 7ish, so make sure you go a little earlier.

My hubby and I stopped in on our way home from a motorcycle trip, mainly so I could visit the quilt shop down the street. We had intended to visit the little ice cream shop a few doors down, but it was closed. I’m so glad it was, because otherwise, we wouldn’t have gotten to experience the warm, friendly hospitality at Westside! I can’t remember the nice lady’s name who helped us, but she made our sandwiches fresh to order, loaded with meat, and let us choose our own chips, drinks, etc., from the store. To top it off, we had ice cream treats, and it was all at a very reasonable price. We will be back!

This is by far some of the best fried Chicken around. Nice small town atmosphere. If you get a chance you need to try the fryed chicken on Wednesday and Saturday evenings.
