I ordered through door dash and got the shrimp happy plate and beef tacos. The food was delicious and they gave large portions. They were generous with the shrimp and cheese, which sets them apart from other Mexican restaurants. Everything was packaged well and they gave utensils and chips and salsa. I will definitely order again.

Unlike Karen who left a 1star review over a lemon, I’m giving 5 stars. Salsa good, chips were seasoned, burrito was excellent, and I got chicken steak fajitas that were loaded with meat. Most of the time they skimp on the meat but it was absolutely worth the price for once. I know they just changed the name of the restaurant and probably the owners but it only got better don’t listen to Karen and her struggle about affordable lemons.

When I ordered my food. I did order it through a delivery service. The store calls me after they accepted my order to tell me that they didn’t know what I ordered. Is this what I ordered a tostada. I said I ordered the beef one with my chimichanga meal. She said wait no you didn’t. Then said yeah ok I see it. But that’s not on our menu. I said what isn’t? She said the tostada. That’s not on our menu? I asked how is that I ordered it off your menu under the flatus? She told me no its not. The said wait do you want the beef ones? ? ? I said yes. She said ok then. I asked her can she please repeat my order to me as there was so much confusion? She said beef flatus and a chimichanga. I said the chimichanga meal. She said that’s not what I have here. . . . I go straight to my menu on the app go to what I ordered and read it to her . She tells me im wrong. Then I asked her how are you telling me im wrong when you called me and didn’t know what I ordered. She then tells me that that’s not what it says. The driver shows up after the lady hangs up on me. The driver said this lady was rude.and made her send the photo of there menu to me. I call no one picks up I send what I ordered to them and nothing. I got my food it was just the chimichanga nothing else. And the beef oil rags. Cheese was water flavored.

We were told we had to pay extra for extra Lemons for our tea. I informed the server that we eat out ALOT and NEVER has a restaurant EVER charge us for extra lemon. He didn’t seem to care. Someone else came by and asked how everything was and I informed her that we probably won’t be coming back because of the charge for extra lemons. She said,” well that’s what we have to do”. I asked she was willing to loose a customer over a couple of slices if lemon. Again she says, “That is what we have to do”. I then asked if she was the manager and she said no I just like to walk around and talk to people. I then asked for the manager and was told no manager was on duty

Never eaten at the Diamondhead location but I eat at the saucier location on occasion. Great food, great service and the overpriced lemons are probably the best I ever had. I’ll gladly support paying for an extra lemon for the service and food I’ve had in the past.

We often went to the Mexican restaurant that was there before Juan Tequilas took over a month ago. We were seriously disappointed by the new owners. We ordered the steak tacos and they were really bland and unseasoned.
