The dining area was clean, nice tables and chairs. We were greeted and connected with a wonderful manager named Nadine, who I’d like to say made this visit special. She really made us feel cared for and included. All the employees were friendly and helpful, maybe a reflection of her leadership. They are all doing a great job!
BUT I do ALWAYS get sick when I eat here. Im not sure if its a cleanliness issue or expired food being served but this is the only fast food location I get sick at. The 1 star rating has nothing to do with the staffing in terms of service. But something is off about the food.
I visited this Wendy’s with my partner around 11:00 PM. From the start, the experience was frustrating. The drive-thru was cash only, and after being asked to wait, no one responded—we sat in silence saying “hello” into the speaker. Eventually, the cashier returned and confirmed she could break a $100 bill.
We ordered spicy nuggets with sweet chili sauce and a spicy chicken sandwich meal with a large Sprite. Total was $17.60. I paid $100 and was given $63.44—$18.96 short. I counted the change immediately and stayed at the window trying to get the cashier’s attention. She ignored me and disappeared.
My partner got out and spoke to another employee. The cashier, Cheyenne, returned and accused me of hiding the money—while looking me in the eye and smirking. Both my partner and I heard her clearly. She never addressed me directly and gave contradictory explanations: first she said the change was correct, then blamed others, then said she couldn’t open the till.
She told me to call the store in the morning to speak with the regional manager and said she was a manager herself. I called the next day—the voicemail wasn’t even set up. She lied After leaving, we realized we never got a receipt. We returned and were told they couldn’t provide one due to the cash-only system.
I remained calm and respectful throughout. I’ve worked in hospitality—I know what good service looks like. This wasn’t it. Cheyenne’s behavior was unprofessional and biased. When her story didn’t hold, she shifted blame to her two colleagues of color. Race wasn’t a factor until she made it one.
Key concerns:
• Mishandled cash
• Accusation of theft
• No communication or resolution
• Disruption to other customers
• No receipt
• Voicemail not set up
• Dishonesty from a manager
• Deflection of blame onto colleagues of color
I will not be returning. You will not see my money, my face, or my support again. I’ll be contacting corporate—this location has a pattern of poor service.
However, after tonight’s debacle, we will not be going back to this location and possibly any other Wendy’s. We waited almost 30 minutes for 2 hamburgers, 2 Jr cheeseburger deluxes, and 2 medium fries. When we finally received our order, it was all wrong, cold, and inedible. I couldn’t bite through the lettuce it was so wilted. The mayonnaise on the burger could have been scrapped off into an empty mayonnaise jar and sold as new at a grocery store. The cheese on the burgers were, all at the same time, dry, wet, crusty, and gray. We threw all 20 dollars worth of food away. It was that bad. A highlight was that all workers seemed to be doing their best.
my service dog (smallish golden retriever) has enough room to do her job for me in here, and she was welcome here. its clean enough under the tables for me to feel comfortable letting her sleep there.
