The sandwiches here are better than anywhere in Gallatin, Portland, or Lafayette. We have needed something like this for a very long time. On my last visit I was rather hard on them about asking for tips- It is true people are really burnt out on guilt-tipping. However I am afraid my candor that day was way over the top and I really apologize for that. What I said was true though, I would still prefer to pay more for a sandwich than made to feel forced to leave a tip. You offer outstanding food, perhaps the price should be more commensurate with its quality.

If you’re reading this, just get in your car and go to Retro Deli. You won’t be disappointed. I mean it. It’s a vibe inside, the food is top-notch, the service is fast and friendly, and you get a lot for your money. Order a Mile High sandwich, a bag of chips, and a drink.
