I was staying for business and had clients meet me at Cafe Flamant for drinks one evening. Anika was the bartender, and she was AMAZING. She made us fun, off-menu craft cocktails, kept our water glasses full, and was full of stories to keep us entertained (while listening to our stories). What an enjoyable four hours! A must visit.

It is located in the Voco St James hotel and is well worth stopping by whether it be for a cocktail in the evening or for breakfast. The staff are very attentive and nothing is too much, big shout out to Frank that took care of us when we had breakfast there a couple of mornings. Great atmosphere and there is a courtyard when the weather is nice.

Cafe Flamant is an okay hotel bar and restaurant. It’s quite small; we almost didn’t recognize it walking by the hotel entrance as it is a bit tucked inside. We were searching for a breakfast spot with a lighter option like a parfait. It was very good here, and a very large portion. Cocktails for those who want to get their days started early too. Overall it’s good, but not something that I would typically search for while in New Orleans.

A small restaurant and bar inside a relatively new boutique luxury hotel – the Voco St. James. The gentleman operating it and acting as the server was very friendly a personable.
