I had a brown bear iced latte and it was delicious. My husband had an Americano and said it was delicious as well.

Brown bear latte with half brown sugar and an extra shot of espresso for the win.

Claire was the best barista I’ve ever had. She made me a vanilla late that tasted out of this world. It wasn’t just coffee—it was a connection. A warm, frothy embrace that made me believe in love at first sip. I don’t care if it’s weird; this latte is the best relationship I’ve ever had. Will it cheat on me? No. This is the one.

Brew Alaska is the kind of place that makes you instantly glad you showed up hungry. Between the fresh food, stellar beers, and insane bay views, it’s a no-brainer stop in Homer.

The beer list was solid too—something for everyone, whether you’re into hops or just want something smooth and local.

Service-wise, we totally lucked out with Claire. She was super helpful, on top of everything, and genuinely made the experience better. Friendly without being over-the-top, and had great suggestions that actually hit the mark. Just great energy all around.

Whether you’re visiting or live here year-round, Brew Alaska is one of those spots that makes you want to come back before you’ve even left.

If you’re in Homer and don’t swing by Brew Alaska, you’re seriously missing out. This place nails it—awesome food, a killer view of Kachemak Bay, and some of the best local beer I’ve ever had (and I don’t say that lightly).

The halibut tacos? Unreal. The smoked salmon dip? A spiritual experience. Everything tastes fresh, local, and made with way more care than I put into most of my life decisions.

And shoutout to Claire, who absolutely crushed it as our server. Super friendly, totally on it the whole time, and made great recommendations without that “I’m just here for tips” vibe. You can tell she actually enjoys being there—and made us feel the same way.

The vibe is laid-back but polished, perfect for anything from post-adventure food missions to relaxing with a beer and pretending you’re way cooler than you actually are.

Bottom line: Brew Alaska is the real deal. Go for the food, stay for the beer, leave with a new favorite spot (and maybe a Claire-level standard for service).
