Been about 4 times now and have always had a good experience with the service and food. I love that they have games you can play too. We enjoyed the pizza, pretzels, beer selection, and pleasantly surprised by the charcuterie board.

My kiddo says, “I love this pizza, it’s my favorite!” Tukes pizza is so good, the sourdough crust gives it a special touch. The pizza always comes out hot, melty, and delicious. The main building where you order seems to lack sound dampening and has a bit of an echo, so having kids, we sit out in their beer hall. During our last visit, we saw that they changed the tables in the beer hall to be bar height. I understand that the change allows more tables, however, I’m not sure how a highchair would work out there now.

3 pizzas were AWESOME, created by the owners’ daughter! Fine beer selection! Well organized business model! Notice the ” paper plates” at each table setting- NEVER seen before!

Came for a lunch to grab a pizza and beer, enjoyed the ambiance (Sunday football) and amicable staff. Pizza came up quick and was delicious (pepperoni and supreme). Ordered a couple beers (Hefeweizen and Pilz), both were good. Clean establishment.

Good food in a casual, comfortable space. The back patio is really nice on a summer evening. We got take out, having a beer, chips and salsa while I waited for the order. The Amber Ale I had was very nice. The salsa had excellent body and flavor and chips were fresh. I got the BBQ Chicken Wrap, my boyfriend had a pizza, which we both really enjoyed. We’ll be back soon to try more items on the menu. Glad we found Tukes Taphouse.

I want to gatekeep but I can’t. If you like food, beer, games, have kids, like to support local, come here. Their pizza dough is sourdough and is locally sourced from Kalama. They have a cute little outbuilding filled with tables, it’s heated and has games for the kids! They have a food truck and picnic tables outside, they also have corn hole. I met the owner and she owns the old house right next to the restaurant and is turning it into an Airbnb!! Keeping the historic feel of battleground! The owners are local, have 2 boys and are committed to family and the community, and you can feel it when you come here. I can’t wait to see the growth and success of this business and see where they go. Support local!
