I should’ve been warned when I couldn’t find their menu online. It’s Mexican food. I ordered the chicken quesadilla and a beer. Waitress didn’t offer me a glass for my beer. About 1/3 of the quesadilla was overcooked to the point that some of it was burnt. Plastic fork (no knife offered), plastic plate… might as well been a picnic. I was going to give it two stars because the food was cheap, but then I went to the bathroom and it was nasty. Couldn’t wash my hands because there were no paper towels and no air dryer.

Dive bar atmosphere. There was a variety of music types playing (mostly pop and country hits). A Captain and Coke was $4.50, which isn’t terrible. The bartender and fellow patrons were very nice.

Would never go here again me and a few of my family and friends came in here and felt so out of place!! We were black of course eyes were on us.. the bartender barely paid us any attention right after you get your drinks your suppose to pay for them she never took our money.. worst bar experience ever!!

Depending on the time of the day/night, one of Uptown Washington’s derelicts might be there, but they typically keep to themselves. Jose’s is everything you crave in a hometown bar. Plenty of TVs, great selection of bottled and draught beers, great service and they don’t charge “Pittsburgh prices” in their booze.

Big tv’s,Variety of bar food and beer/liquor of coarse. Bartenders are really nice and ready to get/fix you a drink. Nice atmosphere with a trouble free scene.
