Great selection of bourbon. Christmas Ale on draft- year round. Awesome screen cleaners. Pizza is ok- similar to Lil Caesars. Award winning Bartender is reasonably tall and handsome.

This bar is absolutely amazing! From the moment we walked in, the energy was electric and the atmosphere just made you want to stay all night. I started off with a Yellow Card (which was perfectly made) and followed it up with an Oatmeal Cookie shot—both were delicious and dangerously smooth. The bartender really knows his stuff, and you can tell he puts effort into making the bar fun and memorable.
The DJ kept the music flowing all night, and I genuinely danced the night away—it was impossible not to with the vibe in there. The crowd was lively but friendly, and the whole place just had that perfect mix of college-town fun and grown-up nostalgia.
I will say, my spouse is a WMU alumni so it’s a little tough to rep Western in this bar (especially when even going to the bathroom feels like enemy territory ), but honestly, that rivalry only adds to the charm. It makes the place feel even more spirited and special.
Overall, this is hands down one of the best nights out I’ve had in a long time, and I can’t wait to come back. If you’re looking for great drinks, nonstop music, and a place where the fun doesn’t stop, this is it! Can’t wait to go back to JJ’s!!

Western Michigan fans steer clear. Attentive service and a cute house cat. Shoutout to the owner for always flying the right team flag on game day. Doesn’t matter who’s playing—you roll up and the flag is already up. It’s the kind of detail that makes you feel like you’re in the right place to watch the game and have a good time.
