The food was INCREDIBLE!! The hummus was insanely flavorful and creamy. Both the lamb shish and chicken shawarma were so delicious and well seasoned + the dolmas were to die for! Service was quick and the staff were very friendly, I highly recommend 100/10!

Before visiting, I recommend checking their online menu with photos — it really helps you decide! The food was absolutely delicious and full of flavor, and the konafah made a perfect sweet finish, especially with Turkish coffee or tea. It did take about 35 minutes for our order to arrive, but the wait was definitely worth it. Overall, a great spot worth visiting!

I recently ordered biryani from Zaatar Restaurant, and I was honestly impressed. The rice was perfectly cooked, fluffy, aromatic, and well-seasoned. The spices were balanced, not overpowering, and the meat was tender and flavorful. The portion size was generous and worth the price. The presentation was neat, and everything tasted fresh. If you’re in the mood for some Mediterranean food, you’ve come to the right place! I ordered the falafel and the zaatar beef shawarma, and let me tell you, they were absolutely delicious. The falafel was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, and it was fresh and well-seasoned. The meat was tender and flavorful, and they prepared my order super fast. If you’re looking for a great place to eat, you have to check this place out!

I had an incredible experience at Zaatar Mediterranean Cuisine – Towson. The food was absolutely amazing, but what really stood out was the customer service. The owner was so kind and took his time explaining how each dish is made—you can genuinely feel the care and pride behind the food. I honestly haven’t experienced service like that in years.
The mint lemonade was unbelievably refreshing, and the Shish Mixed Grill Entrée was so good that I actually felt sad when I got full and couldn’t finish it. Thankfully, it made for an incredible lunch the next day, so nothing went to waste.
The cherry on top? They also have a second location in Federal Hill, which is much closer to me. Safe to say, I’ll gladly be a regular. Highly recommend if you’re looking for amazing Mediterranean food paired with truly memorable hospitality.

I have now eaten at Zaatar twice in under a week. Unfortunately I liked what I had so much that I haven’t tried other items on the menu. I got the falafel sandwich and the spicy hummus. I loved both…hence me going back in less than a week for the same thing. First time I ate in and the second time I did carry out. I definitely will be going back and will be trying some other dips but will probably stick with the falafel as it was great.

I loved the restaurant that was at this location previously. Decided to give this new place a try. The staff was super nice. I ordered the beef kofta kabob sandwich. It was really good, along with some garlic sauce. The baklava was delicious too! I’ll def order from here again.
