This place was great but I honestly found it overpriced for value! The fish was beautiful but the oysters we ordered could have had more acid or lemon, all components were beautiful individually but just not a knock out when eaten together. Oysters and tuna are my 2 favorite things and I was just like why am I not loving this? The corn dish was had was nicely charred but I felt like it could have used some salt, too. The tostada they brought us was amazing, bright and vibrant and delicious. Everyone was so nice and really lovely but service felt a little fussy for a beachside restaurant as well. The bartenders here were fantastic. Our carajillos were amazing. I wish they were able to lean in to guests just ordering some small plates and drinks and make it a little less fussy for the location on the beach and up the flavors a little bit. The restaurant is beautiful and you can’t beat the view. We didn’t love this restaurant when we were here at 1:00pm so we ended up canceling our dinner reservation as there were other restaurants we preferred. If the price was lower I think I wouldn’t be so critical but due to the seafood nature of this restaurant it was spendy. This is all in comparison to the other restaurants on the property, it’s hard when everything is so amazing as a baseline!

Unreal experience every time we ate here during our stay at the edition. Miguel Suarez took very good care of us. The cocktails were excellent and the food was on point. We loved the ceviche, octopus tostada, beet salad, grilled pineapple and catch of the day. We can’t wait to come back.

Loved this trip to So’ol! We came last year and this year they have stepped it up even more! We did the Wine and So’ol experience with wine paired with oysters and the zarandeado oysters are amazing! So flavorful! Marco was an amazing host for the experience, expertly guiding us through local wines. The Pinot is a standout but the Rose pairs so well with the buttery oysters.

We dined tonight at So’ol and it was my second time there. And it did not disappoint! The food was incredible. They even accomodate my vegan husband despite the lack of vegan items on the menu. The atmosphere and services was impeccable. And the best part was our server Manuel. He took the time to take care of us, answer questions, discuss the food and the culture behind the food. It was an incredible experience thanks to Manuel. We will definitely go back

We stayed at the Edition for 7 nights and this was our sweet spot, every day. Lovely ambience, music and impeccable service, thanks to Ricardo and Manuel. During weekends there was live music at the pool side too, we loved this place very much! We also had one dinner here, and the food was delicious!
