Top quality food and a really personable service. We came in for the lunch offer and we were really impressed by how beautiful the space is, it’s very classy. The food throughout was impeccable, I really enjoyed the soup, and then the hake as a main course was perfectly cooked and a generous portion. I really enjoyed the leeks underneath and the potatoes too. To top it all off, genuinely one of the nicest crème brûlées I’ve ever had – so creamy with a great vanilla taste. The service by Isabelle was incredibly professional and friendly, she really welcomed us. Can’t wait to come back and try it again, it’s a great addition to the area.

I had a lovely birthday dinner at La Bouffe with a friend. The setting is peaceful and beautifully decorated with French art, creating an instantly relaxing atmosphere enhanced by soft French music. It feels special without being pretentious, and the staff were genuinely warm and attentive throughout the evening.
The thoughtful birthday treats and gifts were a wonderful surprise and made the night truly memorable. Every dish we tried was delicious and carefully prepared we kept commenting on how good everything tasted. The prix fixe menu offers excellent value for money.
An outstanding experience from start to finish. We’ll definitely be back and would highly recommend La Bouffe to anyone looking for a special dining experience. Thank you to the wonderful team and the amazing chef.

An authentic French Bistro that opened recently in our neighbourhood. As soon as I read the menu I felt nostalgic for french food. Delicious goats cheese soufflé for starter as light as a feather and perfectly cooked Sea bass with muscles and samphire for main.. Very friendly staff who are happy to give advice on the menu. We really enjoyed our dinner and look forward to coming back.

What a welcome new presence in the area! French bistro, complete with gingham tablecloths, snails in garlic/parsley butter, warm baguette and those duralex water glasses that make you think you’re actually in Paris.
We had creamy celeriac soup, fried plaice with lemon butter and tiny capers, frites, escargots and a couple of glasses of wine.
Unpretentious, welcoming and above all delicious food.
Go quickly before it gets too booked up.

As a French person living in the neighborhood, I was pleasantly surprised to discover this lovely, cozy restaurant. The setting is was very much like stepping into a French apartment, which immediately makes you feel at home. Everything felt genuinely authentic, from the starters through to the dessert and cheese. The duck confit was a true highlight — one of my favorite dishes in general, and exceptionally well done here. A welcoming place with real character, highly recommended.

Excellent meal. We tried snails and mackerel pate to start, both good. Then moved on to main course: the braised ox cheek with red cabbage and potatoes was excellent as was the confit duck. Finished with tart tatin. We had a good bottle red, cocktail to start and a large cognac to finish. We thought the cooking was of a high standard and fair value for money. We will be back. Nice service.
