We ordered the raspados/snow for $6—nothing special. The syrup (piña colada) was ridiculously concentrated and had an unpleasant taste. Texaco next door sells Frazels for half the price, and they’re much better. This place is overpriced.
The worker always seems miserable and speaks to customers in a rude, condescending tone. Last time, she even snapped at my son instead of politely telling him his order wasn’t ready. We watched multiple people arrive and leave while we waited altogether, I waited around 40 minutes for just two corn on the cobs.
We specifically requested the chili powder on the side, but the corn came burnt and completely covered in chili. When I went back to address it, the employee insisted my son never said anything about chili on the side-even though I was on the phone with him and heard him clearly. Calling a child a liar was the final straw. Instead of taking accountability or remaking the order properly, she gave me attitude and said, “Other orders are before yours now.”
When we finally received the two “corrected” corn on the cobs, they were plain, clearly burnt, and had nothing on them at all. It felt spiteful at that point.
Between the burnt corn, ignored request, long wait, handling new orders before ours, and the worker’s consistently rude and condescending attitude, this place has completely lost our business. The food and service simply aren’t worth the frustration or disrespect.
