I wouldn’t say I’m a regular but I wouldn’t say I’m a new comer either. I love the birria tacos. The flavor profile is always there. I just wish the people here in this town were friendlier. It’s like everyone here has a hard time smiling and making you feel welcome. And that’s everywhere you go from Nashville to mineral. I’m wondering if it’s an Arkansas thing. But other than that I really have no complaints. The place is always clean and the price is good and the food quality hasn’t changed in the year and a half I’ve stopped by.

Having lived in and around Austin, I have eaten at numerous Hispanic places. The quality and authenticity of food at Tacos El Girasol blows my mind and is as good as you could hope to find. Exceptional service as well. The best part about, you do not have to break the bank to enjoy crazy good food and be stuffed when you leave.

Best Authentic Mexican food outside of Texarkana. I am a Mineral Springs resident and I am shocked this place isn’t busier than it is. Texarkana people and Hot Springs folks make the trip you won’t be disappointed. The chicken tacos or the asada tacos are amazing, but the burrito they have is to die for!
