A nostalgic place in Cleveland. This place is a piece of Cleveland history. A small casual café. They have quite the selection on the menu with some unique touches to it. It was busy and we were lucky to get a seat immediately. The waitress was instantly at our table. Once we ordered we didn’t wait long for our food at all. You can tell fresh, and I’ve heard local, ingredients were used. The rosemary in the bread was so good. I got the pierogie sandwich. The food was delicious and I cannot wait to go back. There are other things on the menu I would love to try.

No frills diner like experience just beyond all the culinary fun that is the Westside Market. Went to for breakfast/brunch before a rainy Browns game, and the atmosphere was great in that salt of the Earth way many top Cleveland places are. The food was good, I had the seasonal Benedict, the prices were fair, the service was great, and the experience overall was very enjoyable. Worth a stop if you’re in the area and hungry for a bite that includes a piece of the city.

First time visiting Cleveland. Looking for a brunch spot prior to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame visit.
Wow. Just wow.
This place and the market next door were amazing. Great Lakes beer, real kielbasa sausage, super fast service.
Great food. Very friendly folks.
We had short wait. Just allowed us to wander the market to see what was for dessert.

The classic burger is worthy of its namesake. The bacon was crispy and abundant, the patty was tasty, and the bun was toasted on the edges and soft inside. You can’t go wrong with one of these after some shopping at the market.
Please note that consuming food or beverages from other vendors while you are seated is not allowed as per the waiters. So adding a Greek pastry on the side wasn’t possible.

A throw back no-frills Cafe. Probably catered to working folks but now gets a lot of tourists. Simple menu with excellent prices. $7 for two eggs, toast and a plate of hash browns. $5 more your choice of meat. Lots of interesting photos as decor and a convenient and clean restroom. Great place for a quick bite but manage your expectations. It is a café, not a Michelin 5 Star Gordon Ramsey operation.

Went on a Sunday afternoon. The chicken sandwich was great. They were out of fries but the American fries were quite tasty. The mushroom sandwich was devine. They even took the time to tell my son the seasonings for the potatoes so he could try to make them at home. Great staff!

Nestled inside the West Sode Market building, in the heart of Ohio City, the Cafe is a great place for breakfast or lunch (or both).
They have amazing fresh food for what is quite affordable given the quality. It can get a bit busy, but it has a very cozy feel about it even when it’s full.
I recommend you try their daily soups. I’ve never gone wrong with them!

Visiting the markets and popped in here for lunch. It was really busy and couldn’t get a seat, but we left our number and walked the market for a bit. They called us and had us seated in no time. The food was fresh and tasty. I noticed a few patrons with a Bloody Mary and ordered one and wasn’t disappointed. The service from our server was friendly, fast, efficient and she was fun and entertaining. It’s crowded, chaotic, noisy in a good way and everyone was enjoying themselves. Very enjoyable experience.
