Enduring, local art-filled parlor making deep-dish pizza with gourmet toppings & other Italian eats.
No Way 2
This was my second time eating here, and I’m leaving this review under my second account (see the review under No Way for my review of the first time I ate here). I arrived at 8:30 PM, which is 30 minutes before they close. Despite that, my server Kallie and the staff were still pleasant and accommodating. I opted for the Montego Crustless Pizza, which took 15 minutes and 56 seconds to arrive. Unfortunately, the Montego was a disappointment. First, the description in the menu under Crustless Pizzas reads:
“Marinara, your choice of toppings, covered in Mozzarella cheese, and served in a bowl. Dine in only”
If the Montego came with marinara, I neither saw or tasted it. It’s possible that the Montego isn’t supposed to come with marinara, but if that’s the case, they really should clarify that. Speaking of not tasting, I didn’t taste any Jamaican spices. The Montego overall tasted decent, but the biggest issue I had was that it just wasn’t filling. I had to supplement it with a protein bar when I got home. If you really want to try the Montego Crustless Pizza, get a side salad or something with it. Now, because it was the day of my birthday, Gabriel’s Pizza gave me a free Cannoli, which I said I would take home so that they could close up shop without waiting on me. Thankfully, the cannoli was good. Regretfully, despite Kallie and the staff being nice and the free cannoli being tasty, I left Gabriel’s disappointed this time.

I arrived at Gabriel’s Pizza at 5:01 PM and was seated as soon as I checked in (no, I didn’t make a reservation). I ordered a 12-inch California Pizza, which took 17:55 minutes to arrive. The restaurant is clearly going for that old school pizzeria look with its dimly lit interior (which includes the bathroom as well, and no, it wasn’t hard to see anything), staff all wearing black attire (with black tires to boot), neon signs inside the restaurant, brick walls, and black chalkboards with menu related advertising. Speaking of staff, my server Cooper was very pleasant, and I even got to meet the owner of the restaurant, Charlie (she was helping out in the restaurant). Charlie seemed like a very friendly person. I also briefly chatted with another staff member who was a fellow Rammstein fan (he shared a story about attending one of their concerts in France). As for the pizza itself, it was definitely tomato forward (that’s more from the kind of pizza I ordered, which had a tomato sauce and diced tomatoes as a topping), but it was very good and not at all like the kind of greasy garbage pizza you get from fast food pizza places. If I did have any sort of criticism, its that I didn’t know they served a cannoli dessert here. Said cannoli dessert, the Holy Cannoli, wasn’t listed on their website or in their menu that I saw. I only learned about it from one of the chalkboards that’s inside the restaurant, and I did confirm with Charlie that its offered year round and isn’t just a seasonal thing. I would at advise to at least mention having it on your website. Overall, it made me nostalgic for those kinds of pizza places we used to have when I was a kid. A fun aside, at the entrance to the restaurant, there’s a display cabinet filled with Gumby merchandise. The owner Charlie informed me that it was all from her personal collection, and that she apparently has the largest Gumby collection this side of the Mississippi River.

Great spot, smells authentic. As soon as you enter you can just tell it’s going to be great! I got the Chicago style pizza

The pizza tasted pretty good and the service was quick and staff friendly. My dislike was, I think they could have cooked the pizza a little longer.

Five Stars for Gabriel’s Pizza in Cleveland, TN!
We had such a great experience today at Gabriel’s Pizza for their Sunday lunch buffet! Instead of a typical self-serve setup, the staff made rounds and brought fresh, hot pizza right to our table which made it feel extra special. And let me just say: every single pizza tasted amazing!
We especially loved the Buffalo Chicken Piatto, a definite favorite… but the Stockyard, Magnificent Seven, BBQ Chicken, and BBQ Bacon Cheddar Cheeseburger pizzas were all seriously delicious. There wasn’t a single one we didn’t enjoy!
Great service, friendly staff, and pizza that’s full of flavor! What more could you want? We’ll definitely be back!

Came in for dinner right at opening! The pizza is the best in town. Our server, Cooper, was an absolute gem. Attentive, kind, quick, remembered everything, very communicative and clear in answering questions – a 10/10 employee. Unfortunately, the manager, Pat (I think that was her name. She wore glasses), was so disrespectful and rude to us that its lead me to leave this review. One of the people at our table has a dietary restriction that required us to dare ask a question regarding ingredients which seemed to absolutely infuriate Pat. We were the only customers in the restaurant so it was very quiet outside of the seven of us and when Cooper went to ask our question, we could very loudly and clearly hear Pat ranting and raving to him, mocking us and our question. It was very very uncomfortable and it really soured our experience. The rest of our time here she was visibly pleasant with other customers that came in and seemed to purposefully scowl at us and give us dirty looks until we left. I really hope that the owners consider changing managers or even giving Cooper a promotion to manager over Pat. Terrible experience with her, great service from Cooper. I hope I don’t see her again here.

Not Great but not Bad. Breadsticks weren’t hot and Marinara tasted canned. The thin crust I got was good and the regular was too doughy. The restaurant itself was dirty and a little grungy. If dominoes is good pizza to you then this will be a step up. Overall it’s not a place I’d rush back to. 3 stars to be nice

Pizza was sweet , not sure if its the bread or sauce. Not ordering pizza from here again. My elderly parents buy pizza here , they have a sweet tooth. I love pizza, I’ve lived in Atlanta Georgia & Los Angeles Ca. This pizza isn’t for me.

Delicious pan pizza loaded with lots of cheese, don’t need to ask for extra cheese. Loved it!
Just remember if you order deep dish it takes longer to cook so be patient .

I’m glad I didn’t listen to the bad reviews. The pizza was fantastic. Toppings were plentiful and tasted great. We got the “Stockyard” which was the meat pizza. It’s my new favorite pizza place! I only tried one breadstick. It was the one that came with the salad. It was super moist and tasted great. I also got a side salad which I won’t do again. I found it hard to eat in the small bowl so I just dumped it onto the plate they provided. A salad was only lettuce, cucumbers, tomatoes and carrots. Cheese was extra and only choice was feta or motz. I really enjoy a salad, so I was disappointed.
