Went here with my girlfriend for our anniversary. The atmosphere was so nice and the restaurant even gave prepared for us a little card congratulating us, as well as a complimentary desserts which was extremely thoughtful.

We ordered the seared scallops, wagyu rump steak, their special chocolate aged wagyu sirloin, Fatcow potatoes and mushroom risotto, with their mushroom and peppercorn sauces.

The seared scallops were had a very nice crust on them, and were very tender and had a great depth of flavour, especially with the purée and sauce. The potatoes were very crunchy and smelt amazing, and the paprika aioli went very well with it. The mushroom risotto was cooked perfectly with a great creamy texture, and had a great mushroom flavour.

The stars of the shows were the steaks of course, and they were amazing. Seasoned perfectly, which a lot of restaurants often miss, with an amazing sear as well. The sirloin melted in your mouth and had a great dry age taste, and didn’t even need any sauce accompaniments to be honest. The rump, while less tender, was also extremely flavourful and cooked perfectly as well. The mushroom sauce really enhanced the steaks, although the peppercorn sauce did not have as deep a flavour.

Overall though, the restaurant was super accomodating, and the food was amazing. Would definitely recommend for a special occasion.

The entire experience was next level. We started with fresh oysters shucked straight from the tank unreal, so clean and silky.
The certified Kobe beef genuinely melts in your mouth, nothing like anything I’ve ever tasted.
The tasting board of steaks was cooked to perfection and honestly didn’t need any sauce.
The potatoes are little crispy squares of goodness.

Only slight change I’d suggest is serving the mac and cheese as the port & cheese sauce in a small, high-edge bowl with a thick crust on top.

The staff were all lovely andq the service was exceptional. They also moved us without hesitation when they saw I was anxious, which honestly meant a lot.

We love oysters so we usually choose them as an entree. Since it’s not the season right now and oysters are often not great anywhere we tried a small portion. Surprisingly even though it’s not the season the oysters were amazing

What I really want to praise is the A5 wagyu.. We’ve tried A5 wagyu at many restaurants but this was the best one. The cooking was perfect. We ate all of it with just salt without any sauce. It wasn’t greasy at all. just perfect.

The beef roll was a little disappointing. The meat was very lean and cooked well done So it felt a bit dry.

Oh wow! Had the sirloin and it was amazing we ordered all the sides and they all were first class esp the pumpkin and tomato cheese salad. Even the bread served with Hight quality butter and gravy was amazing. Highly recommended! Service was amazing we had a scandi tatooed glasses wearing waitress who was exceptional in every way. I’m from Melbourne but really hope to get back one day. Great work Fatcow!

Absolutely outstanding experience at Fatcow! From the moment we arrived, everything was exceptional. The food was incredibly delicious, beautifully presented, and full of flavour. The Kobe was exceptional, and the full-blood rib fillet was rich and packed with flavour.
The service was warm, professional, and attentive, making us feel genuinely welcome throughout our visit. The atmosphere was stylish yet comfortable, creating the perfect setting for a relaxed and enjoyable meal. Every detail was spot on. Highly recommend Fatcow and we can’t wait to retun.

Absolutely outstanding experience at Fatcow in Brisbane. The steak was exceptional, perfectly cooked, incredibly tender, and it genuinely melted in my mouth. You can tell they take real pride in the quality of their beef.

The service was just as impressive. Our waiter was knowledgeable, attentive, and clearly passionate about the menu, which made the whole experience even better. We did have one side come out slightly overcooked, but it was replaced immediately without any hesitation or fuss. That kind of responsiveness says a lot about how seriously they take customer experience.

Overall it was a nice night out and the cocktails were really good. The bread,scallops and the pumpkin and blue chesse were to die for. Unfortunately the Kobe beef and Japanese wagyu did not live up to the hype we had we tried and yeah not worth it the wagyu Australian beef was 100000% times better. The service was great and the atmosphere was very welcoming. To be honest we wont be back this visit was more to see what the hype was about.

Equal best steak I’ve ever had, phenomenal wine list, and sensational service from Marina. Can’t recommend enough! Get a red wine from Bordeaux and the wagyu tasting platter to share between two, it’s heaven!

Unbelievable food and service. Highly recommend if you want a lovely evening out to dress up and enjoy yourself. Will be returning to try the banquet and tasting menus. Tristan was our server and he was hilarious and attentive. Great option for a special occasion.
