It was a sad night, with a sorry dinner. After 2 weeks in Europe, It was the first bad meal we had.

First of all, let it be clear that their current menu is completely different than what you see here through google maps. Had I known what was actually on offer, I wouldn’t have even stepped in, as the options did not look appealing to me.

It was already disappointing when I realized their current menu did not have the options I was eager to try, but as we were already seated, we decided to choose something anyway and hope for the best.

Unfortunately, the member of the staff who took our orders didn’t compreheend one of the dishes we ordered, and we were served a “boar” instead of a “porgy”. Regardless, both dishes served to us were bland and uninspired, and the pear served with the boar was described by my brother as outright disgusting. Bland sauce, tasteless legumes, cold bread, fishbone in the fish, chewy boar meat, awful cabbage…

Unfortunately, I cannot really recommend the restaurant based on my experience, but maybe It was just a bad day.

Amazing food, service and experience. Couldn’t have asked for a better meal and time. The food was fresh, beautiful and affordable. The service was exceptional with patience, knowledge and attentiveness with both the food and wine selection.

We made a last minute reservation for 3 – with a little doggie too – and we had a wonderful night. We all started with some local wines – and ordered a bunch a yummy foods – from the escargot to the warm chocolate lava cake. Cheese course was amazing too – I recommend you try it! The co-owner Paulina was so sweet and did everything to make us comfortable. A gem of a place!!! Thanks for such a great evening!

Absolutely brilliant, the highlight of our trip to Strasbourg! With seasonal local dishes and attentive helpful staff. Food packed full of flavour. The white asparagus starter with cheese, lemon and dill, and the steak was delicious!

Wonderful little restaurant with lots of Charme and amazing cuisine. Casual modern style in old Strasbourg. Very cost atmosphere. Classic dishes with a little modern twist. Loved the marbled terrine and the rabbit strudel. The crunchy trout (in original spring roll dough) with the squid ink pasta was amazing, super well seasoned in a light sauce with mushrooms. Wine selection was fabulous. Really recommend

What a lucky find! Wonderful experience! FIVE STARS! Presentation and wonderful pairings. Great wine menu. A nice long French dinner….We had a grouper and a cod entre as well as a salmon tartre appetizer and dessert that was not on the menu. The menu changes every week and sometimes daily according to what is available locally and the chef. No vegetarian entres on the menu. As a plus it is an easy walk to but just outside the noisey tourist area.

We came here for a wine & food tasting night and it was great. The place was fully packed, but service was still handling and being perfectly nice. Delicious rather simple dishes based on high quality products.

The staff is welcoming and very friendly and really know how to take care of customers. All dishes from starters to main dishes and finally the desserts were appealing to the eyes and very tasty. All for reasonable prices. Absolutely I recommend this restaurant.

I hardly ever post reviews but my experience here was so perfect I had to share. I had a reservation for two but ended up there solo. They couldn’t have been more kind and gave me a lovely seat. There was some language barrier but we did our best and they were always so sweet. I ordered a starter that was crab wrapped in filo pastry. It was crispy and delicious. I then had the duck with sauerkraut and potatoes dauphane. Delightful. But the best was dessert. I got the apple tatin and it may be the best dessert I’ve had in my life. It was almost like an apple butter piled on a little crisp cake, served with a creamy caramel sauce and cinnamon ice cream. I was in heaven. I will think about that ice cream the rest of my life it was that memorably good. I ate my dessert with a latte macchiato and I had Pinot grit with my meal. Like I said, everything was perfect: Food, service, ambience. Do not hesitate to book this.
