This was hands down the worst McDonald’s experience I’ve ever had.
I went through the drive-thru and was charged around $30 for my order. Before leaving, I checked my food right in front of Window 2 and realized a sandwich meal was missing. I immediately brought it to their attention.
While handing the bag back to a second employee so they could check the order, the bag accidentally fell, and one sandwich fell on the ground. The employee properly threw it away. At that point, two sandwiches were missing.
Instead of checking the order or fixing the issue, the woman I believe was the manager handled the situation in the most unprofessional way possible. She accused me of already taking the food, became extremely rude, raised her voice, and yelled at both me and the employee in front of customers.
I asked for my missing meals or a refund, and she refused both. I also asked for my receipt back and showed proof of payment from the automatic text confirmation I received, yet she still insisted I had already received my food. I ultimately left without the food I paid for, without a refund, and without my receipt.
Mistakes can happen in a drive-thru, but the way this was handled–accusations, yelling, and refusal to resolve the issue–is completely unacceptable. I will not be returning to this location.
