Baguette et Chocolat in Bee Cave is one of our favorite weekend breakfast spots! Me and my family love coming here — the atmosphere is cozy, welcoming, and perfect for a relaxing morning.

We usually order breakfast croissants with eggs and bacon, and they’re always amazing — buttery, flaky, and full of flavor. Their Mocha is one of the best I’ve had, rich and smooth, and the beignets are absolutely delicious — light, sweet, and fresh every time. The sourdough bread is also worth mentioning; it’s perfectly baked and goes great with any meal.

The staff is very polite and attentive, and the service is consistently excellent. Whether we dine in or take our coffee to go, the experience is always pleasant.

If you’re in Bee Cave and looking for a lovely spot to enjoy breakfast or a weekend treat, Baguette et Chocolat is definitely a must-visit.

Found another French bakery near my home where tried to come on a Monday but was closed but returned on a Wednesday and was able to experience it. This is a locally owned business with excellent service where I ordered a coffee and was one of the best I had.

As I waited for my loved one in physical therapy nearby I enjoyed the coffee outside. They do have an assortment of food menu items and water a stream of people coming and going carry paper bags. I be returning shortly and will try a breakfast item.

I returned two weeks later and once again ordered a coffee and this time eggs and on the menu said with bread and got it too. I sat down after getting my fresh cup of coffee and soon a 1/2 baguette filled with a huge egg omelet with bacon pieces. It was in a paper bag and huge. It did taste very good and the eggs had a nice flavor. I have fallen in love of this place, but next time will order something a bit smaller.

A small shop, not much seating area. The chocolate almonds croissant is buttery and rich in taste. The coffee is great. Staffs are friendly and make you feel welcomed. Definitely will visit again.

This little French restaurant has an excellent croque monsieur and croissant. I look forward to trying more of what they have to offer.
It is located in a freestanding building toward the rear of a large shopping, office, and dining area. They share a large free parking lot with the neighboring businesses.

This French bakery is a gem! Their croissants and pastries are perfectly flaky and fresh, and the French onion soup is rich and flavorful—a true classic done right.

I also ordered a coffee, and it was fantastic, pairing perfectly with the baked goods. The place is quite popular, so there’s usually a small but steady queue, which speaks to its quality.

The staff is incredibly friendly, adding to the welcoming atmosphere. Overall, it’s a must-visit spot for anyone who loves authentic French flavors and a cozy vibe. Highly recommended!

I. LOVE. THIS PLACE. The sweet options are immaculate. From the Pain au Chocolate, to the Apple Tarts (my personal favorite) everything they make here is well baked and flavorful.

This cafe is authentic, be here to start your day.

We visited on a Sunday morning, and it was a bit busy. We ordered the Surprise Croissant, Chocolate Croissant, and Croque Madame Salad.

The croissants were delicious—flaky and flavorful. However, the Croque Madame Salad was disappointing. We specifically requested it without meat but with an egg on top, yet the egg was missing on the top. When we brought it to their attention, they provided the egg separately, which felt like an oversight that could have been avoided.

The environment was pleasant, and the staff was friendly, but attention to detail matters. They have outdoor seating.

Honestly kind of shocked the reviews aren’t 4.9, this is my favorite bakery in Austin. French style pastries, super high quality, flavorful, divine, and the perfect amount of sweetness. I’ve had the lemon merengue tarte which was DIVINE- best merengue I’ve ever had. I’ve had the raspberry tarte twice which is so fresh, the cream/ custard (?) tastes like real vanilla bean just delicious, raspberries somehow always perfect, and the crust/base just as good as everything else. And lastly, the eclairs– I love the classic chocolate eclair with the custard filling. I tried the chocolate filling one as well recently, and was surprised how delicious. The ratios are perfect, pastries are fresh, and made with love and respect for the craft! Sweet staff who seem happy to be there, though I wish you could tip (apparently they pay higher wages though, so, good for them.) Great drinks, too- I’ve had the lavender latte and chai tea! Atmosphere is cozy and unpretentious which is a bonus for me. Hidden gem in Bee Cave, I will be back! Highly recommend especially if you’re a pastry lover

My favorite bakery ever! Taste like home!
I love the paninis, the sourdough seeds, the walnut and cranberry sourdough, the deserts and the coffee! The staff is very friendly and love the atmosphere. It feels like home. I am originally from Brazil and the bread really reminds me of Home! Love the crunch baguete!

A nice bakery with a large selection of pastries and breakfast items. They have an extensive variety of macarons, so you’re sure to find one you like. For breakfast, we ordered a Croque Madame. It was good but a bit dry for my taste. All dishes were served in take-out boxes. The Paris Austin and macaron were delicious and moderately sweet. The Napoleon was crispy, though the sweet glaze on top was a bit much for my taste.
