Tried this place for dinner tonight! It was okay! Super drunk people by us. The wait staff did nothing! So loud and we were outside. Did not know how to make a mixed drink with Malibu and/Cranberry juice/ Pinnapple juice. Crazy! Wait staff was clueless. Food was okay! One and done for us. Really run down!

4 star bar food. It’s a great location across the street from Lake Lansing. Great service. The brisket isn’t #1 but it is pretty good. The price are fair, service is very friendly and the interior has a rustic feel. From the walls to the ceiling are cover in 1$ bills with personalized messages from previous guests, you can leave one too!

First visit. Holy cow, holy Bloddy Mary!!! Enjoyed every ounce. Fun atmosphere. Great staff. Thank you, Jordon, for making us feel welcome. When traveling near Lansing, MI, be sure to make a quick stop. It’s not too far off the highway.

I came here several days ago to order some drinks and food. My waitress maya gave the most excellent costumer service I have ever had. She noticed I was upset about something, and showed me great compassion by listening to me talk about my problems. She gave great advice and tried her very best to cheer me up. I am so thankful for that beautiful soul coming into my life that day,, I really needed that! Thank you Maya.

Overpriced drinks and poor service. My Vodka Red Bull tasted off and almost acidic, like the Red Bull was old. I was served Jack instead of Crown but still charged for Crown. $12 drinks for ~8 oz pours is unreasonable. The staff was rude and repeatedly questioned me throughout the night, acting as if I were lying about a friend buying me a drink, walking around the bar with my card asking others if it was theirs despite just taking it from me, and questioning who a second shot was for in a way that implied I was serving someone underage, even after everyone in our group had already been ID’d. We were also asked to cash out after only about 20 minutes. Not an experience I’d recommend.

Family came up from Rochester Hills to celebrate my birthday! Rainy day, onside was pretty full so we couldn’t sit in the bar. Took a whole to get drinks out. No On Tap list. No real menu
Food is all housemade, and delicious
Bloody Mary’s did not disappoint. Whole reason for the trip! Smoked ribs and wings fabulous, So were the fried. Will definitely try again!
Update: back with another friend bc: the FOOD! This time the patio
Kid you not, the waitress stated we were her only table, and although, very thoughtful, I tipped her well, she brought ice cold dog water. Slow AF perhaps bc it’s all home made, Dem burgers tho, are legit. ⅓ lb. Fat burgers. The FOOD. THE Bloody Nary Specials

If you’re looking for a hole in the wall type of place with delicious food and a hometown feel, this is IT. I used to live in the area and it has remained one of the best places around. Last time I went, I decided to try whatever the server recommended – she said the boneless wings tossed in boom boom sauce was her favorite and WOW was she right!!! I’ve truthfully never had a bad experience here and would recommend to anyone.
