Was recommended to go to Byron’s Hot Dogs to get authentic Chicago hotdog. We got classic Chicago dogs as well as a chilli cheese dog.
The hotdogs were fantastic and so were the french fries.

We were treated to Byron’s Hotdog which was recommended so I tried it. It’s a Chicago Dog with added lettuce, cucumber slices and green pepper. Honestly, it’s a salad on top of a hotdog in a bun but I really liked it. It’s more filling and I loved the freshness from the vegetables.
When you go to Byron’s, there is ample parking space in the back. Go inside the small building and order; did get pretty tight in there when a line formed and people were waiting for their food. Service was fast. There are 6 picnic tables in a covered space outside.
No restrooms.
We drove there but I saw Sheridan station nearby. Located near Wrigley Field.

Guys Goooo get your self an hotdog chicago style cucumber lettuce tomato salt and pepper the whole 9 yards its one on my favorites. 3 dollars on Tuesdays only and try their dogzilla hotdogs I believe it’s a foot long and now they have outdoor sitting with heat

Great dog. I got the jumbo. It’s definitely a meal on its own.
Service was quick. I found this place because of a YT video and the guy at the cash register was in the video, so that was cool.
The birds are looking for a treat, either some bun or fries and they’re not shy.

Real Chicago hotdogs topped with fresh delicious veg, pickles and mustard. We crossed town for these and were not disappointed. You really feel like you’ve stumbled across a gem. There’s seating outside under umbrellas and a couple of seats at the window inside. When we were there there was a basketball game on the TV and the servers were super into it which was great made the whole experience really vibey. They were all very sweet and asked us if we were enjoying it half way through the meal. My jumbo hotdog and fries came to $9 something. Can’t recommend highly enough food was banging, vibes / interior / signage timeless and price spot on

Everything is great for a quick bite before the game or LATE night or a quickie lunch. There’s no indoor seating, but they have a tent with picnic tables, and best of all PARKING. back in the 80s, my cousin live around the corner, and every time she would visit, Byron’s was on the agenda.

My husband and I love Byron’s hotdogs and the fries are my favorite always cooked to perfection! The Dogzilla is a must try and bring your appetite you will not be dissapointed. Beat Chicago dogs around! Anytime we are in that area and heading to a Cubs game it is a must stop at location for good eats!

Stopped in on my Chicago glizzy tour and Byrons did not disappoint, service was fast, hot dog was delicious it’s my second best on my trip so far. They added too many onions to my liking but the weiner was the biggest I’ve had so far in a regular size dog. The bun was also missing the poppy seeds. Fries were solid as well. My search continues for the best Chicago dog!
