Krispy Krunchy Chicken® (KKC), founded in Louisiana in 1989, is a quick-serve solution for convenience stores, truck stops, universities, casinos, and big box retailers across the U.S. Every piece of our chicken and tenders is marinaded in a proprietary mix of mild but oh-so-flavorful spices, then double hand-breaded and fried to golden perfection. We serve it with the best sides around and most every order comes with a little bit of crowning glory – a freshly baked biscuit, generously drizzled with pure honey goodness.
Fast-food eatery specializing in Cajun-style fried chicken, plus wings, seafood, breakfast & more.

My group entered the store and requested one family meal order of 12 piece chicken tenders w/ 6 biscuits + family fries from their menu; no special requests, we didn’t stray from the menu and no multiples of anything so it would seem likely that our order could be filled because (again) it’s printed, displayed and offered directly on their menu. Only two tenders could be seen in the pan, so we were told by the young red-headed male that he didn’t have enough tenders for the order; we understood this and replied that we were happy to wait for them to prepare another batch, as it seemed obvious they were going to need to do so anyways. The young man gave a look of surprise at the request and replies, “Let me ask my manager if she can drop some more;” he didn’t explain why he couldn’t prepare them, just that he would make a request for us. A moment later he returned from speaking to a heavier-set, older blonde female and says “we won’t have anymore tenders.” I clarified with, “At all?”, and he reaffirmed there wouldn’t be any more tenders.
My family then asked what time they closed, in case we misunderstood their business hours today, to which he replied that they’re open until 7pm. (???)
Not sure why this restaurant refused to prepare our family a food order, or if they only prepare so many tenders in a day and had simply sold out, but highly suggest any potential clients call before coming into the store to order from the menu.
Our order was blatantly refused so we left without any purchase from them, and wanted to share our really odd exchange with the two employees present who seemingly wouldn’t prepare additional food for the remainder of the day. It really struck us as odd given that at this time of day, all the nearby schools were dismissing all of their students and this fast-food station was likely to have other customers (families and/or groups) requesting much of the same because they’re also the only fast food store of any kind around!
Again, not clear if the issue is lack of supplies, extremely poor quality work ethic, or very-low employee satisfaction, but definitely a sad established standard for the store.
