If you are craving a slice of pizza while on Capitol Hill, look no further than Hot Mama’s. Hands down the best slice of pesto you will get in the city. This is a go to late night spot but I lived on Capitol Hill for a decade and definitely ordered whole pizzas to get me through the week.
You can only get pizza to go, there are a couple of tables next to the restaurant but it’s a toss-up on it you find a spot.

Best pizza in Seattle is hot mamas, crispy thin crust and generous toppings. Reminds me of New York. I’ve been coming here since my Seattle central days. Very affordable as well! They sell a variety of pizza by the slice. The pesto one is a popular favorite, I personally like the meat combo.

Go to place for a slice of pizza in Cap Hill. Slices are around 4-5 bucks and it’s always a good quick meal for lunch or after work. Always have them heat it up for you, it melts the cheese just right, and the whole slice gets to the right amount of crispy.

I freaking ❤️ this place. It’s good pizza. The people are lovely. They have an excellent food rating. The whole place/vibe is like stepping back into the 90’s IN THE BEST WAY. Affordable as well. This place feels precious and you should grab a slice.

So glad I ordered ahead. Line was long but totally understandable since they by the slice as well. I got the 18 inch Chicken and garlic with added mushrooms and finish off with the pesto drizzle. Price is good for the tasteful ingredients they use. Crust add a crunch and the toppings stand out more since they use less tomato sauce. If you are looking for a New York slice that is thin but the toppings are thick with little sauce, this is an amazing place to try out and judge for yourself. I will definitely come back to try more of their food.

Hot Mama’s Pizza had been on my radar for a while—one of those spots people rave about in Seattle’s pizza scene. After trying a handful of other places, though, it slowly slid down my list.

The vibe is chill, and it definitely has that classic late-night pizza joint feel. Whether you’re sober or in the mood for a post-bar snack, it’s one of those places that will get the job done, especially if you’ve had a few drinks in you.

It’s not a fancy spot by any means,— grab and go. With the option to sit at a few select tables outside.. The décor is straightforward and casual, and the staff is friendly enough, though not much to write home about. You’re not going here for an experience—you’re going for pizza, and in that sense, it delivers.

Now, the pizza itself. The crust is decent—not too thick, not too thin—but definitely nothing that’ll blow your mind. The pesto sauce helped this slice — a lot of cheese. If you’re looking for something unique or outstanding, you might want to keep looking.

The pizza does shine when you’re in the mood for something filling, easy, and satisfying. It’s the kind of place that feels perfect after a night out when you just need something hot, greasy, and easy to eat.

Hot Mama’s is a solid backup option in Seattle, but it’s not going to top your pizza list. It might even slide to the bottom after you’ve tried some of the city’s better options.

Would I go back? Sure, if I’m in the area or craving a quick fix. But there are definitely better options out there. I would say give it a try — everyone has different tastes.

This is our new favorite pizza spot!! The pizza is delicious and make you if you get a slice ask them to heat it up again and it adds the most perfect crisp to the crust!

We went for slices for lunch and ended up picking up a whole pie for dinner. We did a perso pizza and we added feta cheese and sun dried tomatoes and it was amazing!!

Staff is super nice and cool

There are a couple of table and chairs on the side of the building to sit and decent amount of parking that was quick for pick up!
