We originally were waiting downstairs for Javier’s but the line was crazy. Then after we wandered upstairs to discover Jean George’s I felt like I won the lottery. Great looking restaurant, classy, modern, well lit steakhouse. Some fun options on the menu including real Wagyu, some seafood options that looked amazing, and the short rib I got was actually one of the best I’ve had. The service was top notch and on point. Everything was quick and easy and I will definitely be going back.

This steakhouse exceeded my expectations. The atmosphere when we went was bustling but quiet—the lighting is perfect to feel like an intimate, private meal. The steak was among the best I have had among Las Vegas’s best steakhouses. The ribeye was cooked perfectly and the crust and cap were perfect. I usually don’t add sauce to steak, but their four signature sauces paired really well. The sides were great. The heart of palm salad, the bacon wrapped shrimp, and the truffle Mac and cheese were among the best I’ve had. Even the complimentary Japanese milkbread and butter were excellent. The service was attentive, friendly, and non-invasive. So great. Top shelf ambiance. The restaurant was quite full, but they accommodated us as walk-ins on the spur of the moment. Loved this experience.

My wife and I recently dined at Jean Georges Steakhouse at Aria, and overall we had a great experience with the food and service. The steaks were fantastic, beautifully prepared, and the service team was attentive and professional throughout the evening. The restaurant itself is absolutely beautiful and has all the elements you’d expect from a high-end dining experience in Las Vegas.

However, we were highly disappointed with the atmosphere. Prior to arrival, we received a confirmation text clearly stating that children under the age of 6 are not permitted and that the dress code is business casual, with specific restrictions on athletic wear and certain footwear.

The table next to us had four children who were clearly under 6 years old. In addition, the gentleman seated at the head of that table was wearing a full matching sweatsuit. After receiving such a detailed confirmation outlining the policies, this was not the expectation we had for the evening.

To be clear — the food was fantastic and the service was excellent. But part of choosing a high-end restaurant is the overall atmosphere and adherence to the standards that are communicated to guests. Unfortunately, that portion of the experience did not match what was outlined prior to our visit.

We would return for the cuisine, but we hope management ensures consistency between stated policies and what is actually enforced in the dining room.

Shocked at how bad my dry aged steak was. Isnt this Jean Georges? Photo of the steak is attached. Reservation for two couples.

The steak- tired and cooked medium. I cut it in half to check it and it was pink through and took a sliver to taste. Grainy texture. This was ‘hotel mass catering quality steak that you’d pay 30 bucks , not $81.

Service- Our server took a drink order and our food order. We never saw him again. 7 o’clock reservation and at 8:25 still a no show. So, terrible service deslite the Manager being gracious and offering to correct my steak. Not his fault but the “Product’ is a sham.

Atmosphere- busy place I get it, but everyone is rushing/expediting. As part of the “turn and burn”, a busser came by and we had to lift our elbows off of the table so he could wipe a rag on the table. They want you gone.

Dess Code: We followed it – sport coat and dresses for the wives. But you can wear anything – t shirt? No problem. One guy looked like he was ready to tee off at the turn, ball cap, golf shirt, shorts.

No white tables cloths? Agin this/was supposed to be an esteemed ateakhouse. Brutal.

From the moment I walked into Gene George’s Steakhouse, I knew I was in for something special. Even before being seated, I stopped at the bar and instantly felt at home — warm, welcoming, and polished without feeling pretentious.

The location itself is tucked away in a somewhat secluded corner of what I believe is either the Aria or the Crystal Shops next to it (getting there was its own little adventure — I may have gotten a bit lost!). But finding it felt like uncovering a hidden gem, and it was absolutely worth the effort.

Every detail here speaks to the quality of the experience. Even the ice cubes in our drinks had the restaurant’s monogram — a small touch, but one that shows the level of care and thought put into every aspect of service.

The food was phenomenal. Our steaks were perfectly cooked, flavorful, and easily among the best I’ve had in Las Vegas. The seafood platter was another highlight — fresh, generous, and an excellent value for what you get.

From start to finish, the service was exceptional: attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable, and genuinely committed to making the evening memorable.

If you’re looking for a truly elevated dining experience in Vegas, Gene George’s Steakhouse should be at the top of your list. I can’t recommend it highly enough — just be ready to hunt it down, because this hidden treasure is worth finding.

My only small disappointment? I had ordered the Wagyu rib cap and wanted to take the remainder home, but while I was chatting, it was cleared away before I had a chance to ask for a to-go box. A slight bummer in an otherwise flawless experience.

Located in Aria resort in Las Vegas this is a phenomenal restaurant.

Awesome atmosphere and an incredible wine list with many options from glass, or bottle. The food is exceptional as they are one of the few restaurants in the country to serve Kobe Beef.

I have to say that even the coffee service after the meal was great with their private blend. If your looking for an exceptional meal in an intimate setting check this place out!

We had an early dinner here and had a delightful time. The menu is not extensive but has most of what you want at a steakhouse. The steaks were excellent, tender and flavorful and cooked perfectly. The specials provided a vegetarian dish that was perfect and the wine and beer lists were extensive. Service was spot on, attentive without being intrusive. Prices were Vegas steakhouse prices but the meal was worth it. Atmosphere is sleek modern and refined. Lighting was good enough to read the menu and noise level was moderate. Hard to find anything to complain about so we give it a solid four clams on the coveted Five Quahog Rating Scale ( 5 stars on Google).

We had a very pleasant dining experience here .

The seats are comfortable and the atmosphere is good, and the service staff are very attentive and friendly. We all ordered the Rips eyes steak 18 oz $87.

Although it comes with four sauces, such as spicy miso sauce, it is actually suitable for me without any sauce.

The meat quality is quite good, the side dish needs to be ordered extra. We ordered mushrooms are delicious .

Bread doesn’t good here , but it not important anyway .

This meal was nothing short of exceptional, and I’m already counting down the days until my next visit. If it weren’t for my Beyoncé plans, we would’ve dined again the next day.

Dinner began with the Wagyu carpaccio, a beautifully executed starter. The balance of the truffle and fritter flavors was bold yet refined, delivering richness without overwhelming the palate. We were welcomed with a complimentary champagne toast, setting a celebratory tone for the evening. The fresh, warm bread served between courses was a thoughtful and appreciated touch.

For our main course, we chose the A5 Wagyu. It was cooked to absolute perfection and was tender enough to cut with a fork, with a flawless sear and just the right amount of seasoning. The handcrafted sauces were all excellent, and our attentive server even created a custom blend at our request, enhancing the steak’s flavor even further. The shishito peppers provided a satisfying contrast and just the right amount of heat.

On the side, we enjoyed the black truffle mac & cheese and grilled asparagus, both amazing dishes that elevated the overall meal. The sommelier was knowledgeable and engaging, helping us select a unique ice wine that paired beautifully with each course.

To conclude, we were presented with an artfully arranged dessert tray featuring a decadent lava cake, white chocolate, passion fruit, and crème brûlée. Each bite was as indulgent as the last.

From start to finish, this dinner was a flawless dining experience. We were so impressed that we personally told the general manager we plan to return for a special birthday celebration in December. Based on the excellence we experienced, we’re confident the staff will deliver another unforgettable evening.

I really wanted to enjoy this restaurant more than I did. It has all of the right ingredients to be great, but after marinating the experience overnight, I conclude it simply is not (great). The location and atmosphere are wonderful. Specifically the staff. This team worked together extremely well and kept my party quite happy. Then the food started arriving and the experience began to level out. The family style sashimi appetizer limited our small party to two pieces each. Turns out to be a good thing, the salmon was dried out and packed the melt in your mouth consistency that I’m used to. Chalk it up to being in the desert, the steak $100 should be amazing. It wasn’t. To be clear, it wasn’t bad, it was just a steak. I have enjoyed aged steak at other establishments and left with wanting more. I felt compelled to eat this one BECAUSE it was $100, not because I WANTED to eat it. I decided to salvage the experience with some NY cheesecake. Ugh. The dessert chef needs to take a trip to New England to better understand what NY style means. Patrons have a certain expectation of density and creaminess with NY style. This wasn’t that… at all. It was a unique, extremely airy version that almost dissolve in your mouth. Quite good, but needs to be renamed to something unique with a fitting description so as to not mislead guests.

Everyone seemed to be enjoying their food, so I assumed it was just me. Turns out, others had the same feeling, we all didn’t want to say anything because the staff was so friendly and the presentation was excellent.

Overall, if you want to impress someone (a date, business proposal, etc), this is a good potential location to visit. If you are looking for top tier steak, there is likely better options.
