Passing through the area of the way to des Moines. Stop for the night at the area motel. Decide to try this food and was surprised by the food. Was very delicious and full of flavor. The Hawaiian chicken was delicious and highly recommended. The shrimp cocktail was made with careful. The employees where very friendly and helpful.

Fantastic restaurant and just West of I-35. The food was great and the staff was impeccable, with our lunch being prepared and served extremely quick for as many patrons we’re in the restaurant. I especially appreciated that they paid attention to the kids with us and served them first, which as a parent means a ton.

Waaay overpriced for Pace salsa and meh food. $50+ for 2 crappy house margs and 2 plates? These are big city prices, for *great* food. I’ve paid less for far better in places like Denver, where the COL is 50%+ more than a small town in MO. Don’t bother.

*My Husband and I were in town in Cameron, Missouri and were going to visit our Son and Family. We drove to through the Century-old Town looking at the sights and happened upon this restaurant and we said let’s go try it out!!
*We went inside the restaurant and it was very quaint and done up in a fun Mexican style and our server was awesome… we ordered off of their menu and the food was very ample with what they served us and then we got their dessert also and that was very good!!

The prices went up by quite a bit which I completely understand in this economy but the sizes have went down. So you pay more for less food. The wait staff was just ok, you had to ask for everything, napkins, refill, ect. I use to look forward to coming here but after this I will be finding a new place to go.

4 stars overall for serving warm, fresh chips and salsa promptly!
The food was good, I ordered two steak tacos and that’s literally all they were-steak in tortillas. Don’t tacos normally come with onion and cilantro? I am fairly sure I didn’t specify plain steak tacos when ordering (but I also didn’t ask about any toppings other than cheese so shame on me). This is why I only gave the food 3 stars.
Anyway, the steak itself was delicious! I ate that up plain and all. I would recommend this place to anyone in town.
