This was a very disappointing cruise for the money paid. This ship’s interior was something out of the baroque period. Mirrors were everywhere, even over the toilets. The guides were excellent but Uniworld leaves it up to you each morning to go and find a guide vs having it prearranged. My experience with river cruises puts Viking above this in many ways.

We were so pampered every minute we were on the ship, going back to our normal life was hard. It was a transporting experience and I really appreciated all the crew members who made it possible. I imagine this was what living in “Downton Abbey” must have been like (service-wise). Most people on board wore casual clothing. Rooms and closet spaces are tight. It was a beautiful experience!
