Here’s the deal. If you have good money to spend, there are steakhouses in STL such as Hamilton’s, Carmine’s, and Capital Grille. Right over the river is Andria’s Steakhouse.
Here’s why I recommend saving your money:
1) The Ribeye was supposed to be medium and it was definitely not medium. I can handle a medium rare – rare but my partner was taken aback. It also was not cooking uniformly. Some parts were rare and some had no pink at all. I don’t like returning food due to potential contaminations so we just ate through it.
2) Unlike other fine dining restaurants, you only get a celebratory dessert if you order and pay for it. That goes for birthdays and anniversary’s alike. For your birthday they will give you a small box of generic fudge if you don’t pay for an actual dessert. Every other restaurant listed above will give you a complimentary dessert.
3) I’ve just had overall way better experiences at similar price points at other establishments.

Wow! We were so impressed with the food and service of Flemings. My partner ordered the surf and turf Valentine’s special, and both the steak and lobster tail were cooked perfectly. I ordered the sea bass and it melted in my mouth- delicious! We finished by sharing their Valentine’s dessert special, a dark chocolate cherry tart. I tasted cream cheese, which I don’t like, so I got a lavender latte (very much enjoyed). The service was incredible, thank you for the wine suggestion Dom! I didn’t enjoy the back room seating ambiance as much as the front of the house. It was much brighter and didn’t feel as intimate (it was also so cold back there!). That is my only complaint, but for good food and service, it was very well worth the visit!

For Valentine’s Day my lovely wife and I wanted to try a new steakhouse. Fleming’s certainly did not disappoint! All of the staff was very welcoming and made sure we had a great experience. The bone in ribeye was melt in your mouth good as well. Safe to say we will be regulars here!

I took my girlfriend to Fleming’s for her birthday lunch, and it could not have been more perfect. From the moment we sat down, Maz—our server—went above and beyond to make sure every detail was taken care of. His attentiveness and professionalism truly set the tone for the entire experience, and he is the first reason we’ll be back.
The second reason? The food. Oh. My. Steak. Every bite was so good it should probably come with a warning label. My girlfriend was in birthday heaven, and I was sitting there realizing no other steakhouse is going to live up to this ever again.
The food itself was unforgettable. Each dish was cooked with care and brought out at just the right moment. The flavors were rich, balanced, and beautifully presented—easily some of the best we’ve ever had.

Thank you for making our Wedding Anniversary unforgettable. My wife and I had an amazing time. Dominique was fantastic making sure everything was set up right with dieting since my wife has Celiac Disease, and they made sure nothing was cross contaminated. The Tomahawk Ribeye was 10/10 great. The Lobster tail was 10/10 as well as the Lobster Bisque 10/10. Loaded potatoes 10/10. The Crème brûlée literally made me smile. It was so delicious that my taste buds were in a euphoria state till the last bite. Everything was 10/10. We will be coming again.

I was so excited to get my Flemings order for anew Years Eve. I decided to get it door dashed because I knew they were busy. I ordered for me and my grandma because she never had it. My steak was supposed to be medium well but it was definitely rare in and out. The potatoes seemed as if they were sitting for a very long time. My grandma got French dip with no onions because she’s allergic but they put onions on it anyway. So sad!!! Andddd they forgot my sparkling water and when I called they stated they ran out and was supposed to tell me before the driver left out but they “couldn’t” 3/10. I won’t be going back! I should’ve stick to Ruth Chris.

Very nice restaurant. Good staff. Mix up in the reservation, but quickly corrected when I called to confirm the day of. The only hiccup was the Bartender is slow with 2 other guys behind he bar, but they were not taking orders, and the bartender needs help taking drink orders, and this can often be the first impression of how dining will go. To my delight, the Server at dinner was on point, polite, and professional. I think they made special accommodations for our large group of 11. Food was fantastic. Atmosphere also was great. Recommended!

Went here for our 3 year anniversary. The service was great and the food was amazing. It was my fir lobster tail . We ended up having the father’s day special steak and lobster, a salad, baked potato and cheese cake plus a side of crab cakes. Only thing I was they would have done was something for our anniversary since my husband made sure it was on the reservation.

Our server Howard offered us the best and most considerate service either of us have ever received in a food establishment and has now set the golden standard for being waited on.
