In 1959, Frank and Tina D’Ambrosio decided to start a new restaurant venture along with their “Paisans” Mario and Enza Volpe, after Frank had much success with his first restaurant, the original “Frankie, Johnnie, and Luigi Too! In Mountain View, CA. Named after a good friend of theirs, they opened the original “Giorgio’s” in the Foxworthy Shopping Center in San Jose, CA. One year later, cousins Anthony and Louise Dambruoso, affectionately known to the family as “Sash and Lou”, took control of the restaurant and ran it for the next eight years. I have been here several times, and the food was always freshly cooked and tasted great. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Atmosphere was warm and comfortable. Clean tables and bathroom. Desserts were delicious as well.

Went here for dinner and ordered a chicken and shrimp fettuccine, it taste good and creamy. Service is good but the area can be clean a little more often. There are bread crumbs all over the floor. Overall recommend to come try it.

The penne calabrese is really yummy and I enjoyed it a lot. But the pizza was dry. The toppings (onions, green peppers) weren’t baked properly and the crust was dry. Didn’t like the pizza but the pasta was really good. This was home delivery so maybe the dine in experience is better.

Greeted and seated as soon as we arrived. Server was very attentive and polite. Food was delicious and didn’t take long for it to arrive at our table. Food was well worth the price. Atmosphere was great and a nicely decorated restaurant. Would recommend for a nice Italian dinner.

If you haven’t tried the Ceasars fantasy salad then you are missing out on something truly unique. It’s so delicious that our nephew will eat it any time we have it with him, and everyone with kiddos in their lives knows that getting anyone under 14 to eat a salad is a miracle, but this kiddo has loved it since he was 2!
Pastas are amazing and the service is always friendly. Also, their fresh made bread and seasoned butter are so good!

The bread was to die for. Damn delicious. The pastas were great and the pizzas have a different look then any normal pizza spot. Makes you feel like your in an Italian restaurant. Honestly tho the bread was the best. I don’t like that it’s a different soup every day. But it’s not my restaurant

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Milpitas area for dine-in. They have some decent options for vegetarians. Eggplant Permigiana is my favorite and go to dish. Service is great as well.

Giorgio’s was okay. The staff were nice enough, but the food didn’t blow me away. The lasagna was decent, but the pasta dish with filet mignon in it seemed more like they used a much lesser cut of meat but still charged filet price. It was a bit tough. Not what I’d expect from filet mignon.
I might give this spot another go at some point, but my first time here wasn’t amazing.
That said, their complementary bread and butter was fantastic. They do get points for that.
