Marie was our waitress an she was wonderful. The food was delicious!!! This was our first time here but DEFINITELY not our last!!
Not pictured was thean n cheese with sausage, it came out late due to a mix up but my husband said it was delicious!!!!

Went to the club car with a large party (10 people). Service was very good and answered questions. The atmosphere was also very nice as it was not terribly loud. Food was the low point of the night. I got the chicken parm and was not amazed by the portion size. It was a large helping of pasta but a pretty small chicken breast. The pasta itself was drenched in sauce and overly sweet. Others got the steaks and other pasta dishes. The steaks were very small but the sides were larger. Overall it was a good dining experience

The food was ok. Got the onion rings, and those were top-notch. I chose something I normally don’t get. But I decided on the Rarebit burger, which is a burger topped with cheddar cheese rarebit sauce. Served open-faced on a ciabatta bun. It didn’t really spark a wow factor. I probably won’t order it again. Our server was friendly and checked in many times. So great service.

Our party of 10 was seated adjacent to another party of 10, where both parties were old high-school friends from 2 separate local schools. This alone should say something great about the abilities of this establishment. We arrived about 11:15 am on a Thursday an by noon they were full. They were prompt, curious & friendly the entire time. All the entries (served at the same time) looked & tasted great. Would have gave them 4 1/2 stars but that doesn’t seem to be an option. The 1/2 star deduction was because it was so loud, but than again… was probably our fault… 2 groups of ladies. Yeah, probably our fault. Love you Club Car!

Our server was clearly very busy!! We ordered from the dinner menu, but the portion was like a lunch size.
We both agreed that it tasted great. My vegetarian pasta lacked veggies . The seafood pasta had 3 shrimp and a sliced scallop. The bread was good and enjoyed the alacart side salad with house dressing.

My wife, child, and I visited on Saturday, July 30th close to 8pm and was welcomed as soon as we walked in the door. We were seated right away and was greeted by our waitress, Megan, almost immediately. She was very friendly and informative. Megan even gave us some great suggestions to try and we were not disappointed with anything we tried! I would give this place more stars if I could. It really was a great place and we will definitely be visiting more in the very near future.
For an appetizer, we got the Bacon Wrapped BBQ Shrimp Kabob. It was perfectly cooked and had the perfect amount of BBQ sauce to accommodate the flavor of the shrimp and the bacon. The bacon was tender with the right amount of crisp. The bed of rice I was skeptical of it until I tried it and even it had the right moisture and flavor to make it go well with the kabob. I wish I ordered two of those it was that delicious!
For dinner, we ordered the Beef Stroganoff, the Vegetarian Pasta, and the Cajun Seafood Pasta. For our son, we ordered the hamburger and fries from the kids menu. Everything was cooked to perfection! The Cajun Seafood Pasta had just enough spice to make it both flavorful and enjoyable without any afterburn.
Every plate was presented very professionally and I have provided pictures to show. This was an hour before they closed and the food was just as fresh as it would have been coming in right when they open.
All of these plates came to just over $65. The pricing and quality is well worth the visit!

Enjoyed happy hour last night with family at the Clive location. Great deals on drinks and food. Quality of everything was top-notch! Plenty of items to choose from. Wait staff were always on the move, keeping drinks filled and customers happy. We sat on the bar side which had plenty of tables and booths. The dining room side started getting busy and full around 6p so make reservations if you don’t want to wait. Restaurant is set in a bank of buildings with a shared parking lot but always availability for a spot.

Fun happy hour. Stuffed mushrooms are amazing! Shrimp kabob was very good still trying things but will go back. Wish I had taken a picture of ribeye, potato, and broccoli! All very good. Ribeye is very good!

We were in Des Moines for just a day and randomly picked Club Car Restaurant and Lounge for lunch. We were so glad we did. We love to try different and locally owned businesses. It is a very comfortable relaxed atmosphere. I know this sounds corn but it has a family vibe. It was busy for lunch, but we were seated immediately at a comfortable booth. Our server was friendly and attentive. My husband had the lunch special which was a barbecue chicken sandwich with bacon. He loved it. I had the Cuban Sandwich and I ate every last bite. We both ordered the potatoe salad as our side and it was home made and delicious.

I have always heard good things about Club Car and finally stopped in for an appetizer and some cocktails. I had no idea thia place could accommodate so many and had a pretty solid menu. From our experience we would return for dinner again sometime soon. The bartender was friendly, the cocktails were good, and the food was tasty. We will be back and I recommend you give it a chance if you haven’t.
