Dogleg Cafe is located in the clubhouse at Keith Hills Golf Club in Lillington, NC. Dogleg Cafe & Keith Hills GC are open to the public, so you don’t have to be a member to enjoy the great food. You may ask, Why Dogleg Cafe? The name is unique, but golfers already understand the reasoning behind it. The Orange/Black course at Keith HIlls GC contains a lot of curved hole (dogleg rights or dogleg lefts). The name is thus a natural fit for the course…plus it’s a lot better name than the Keith Hills Snackbar, Snack Shack., or Halfway House. We serve golf course fare (hot dogs, burgers, fries), but also have some specialties that customer rave about.. Cranberry Chicken Salad, Artisan BLT, Pimento Cheese, and Barbecue. Come see us!

Here is picture of the food:
I go to pick up my order and a older brunette lady in a lavender shirt is chopping onions. She does not acknowledge me, not even a “be with you in a minute”, for 5 minutes. I know because I was already irritated with her, so I kept an eye on the time to make sure I wasn’t being unreasonable. Then, when she deigned to grace me with her attention, she asked me what I wanted. I told her I was picking up an order and she gives it to me. There were no napkins and no bag, even though I was carrying it all alone. Then she took one of the sets of silverware she gave me back, even though both the items I ordered needed silverware. It was bizarre. At that point I just wanted to get away from her. I struggled out to my car, and ended up dropping one of the sandwiches. The entire experience involved entirely too much attitude, eye rolling, and general disdain from the lady at the counter.
I worked in the service industry for many years. This is not how you behave. This is the first time in my life I haven’t tipped someone in the service industry. I normally tip a minimum of 20%, but I couldn’t bring myself to give that awful woman a single penny.
I see now that it was after hours but whoever did that was rude. Why say “sure” and then hang up? Trash
