Our visit to Twisted Crab featured the T1 special combo, which offered solid value for ½ lb snow crab, ½ lb shrimp, ½ lb sausage, plus corn and potatoes. The twisted sauce seasoning (all sauces combined) was flavorful; however, the potatoes were slightly overcooked. The primary reason for our four-star rating was the slow and inattentive service, despite three servers being on duty. Upon arrival, we waited at the entrance for a bit until a delivery driver walked past us and was assisted first. We also observed another table waiting to place their order request to move to the bar because no one had serviced them. While the food was enjoyable, we would choose to dine elsewhere due to the service experience today.

I was craving steamed crabs so I went to Twisted Crab in Hampton. Omg, Noya was my server, friendly, she helped me with my choices and that food came out so fast!!!! I was in another world while enjoying dinner, she checked on me a few times and then I had to tap out!!! Craving Seafood?????Noya will take GREAT care of you…This pic is my leftovers.

We were in town for a conference and decided to check out The Twisted Crab after hearing someone rave about the wings—and they definitely lived up to the hype. We ordered a boil bag and the catfish basket, and everything was full of flavor and cooked perfectly. The catfish was crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and the boil bag had just the right amount of seasoning and spice.
Tee, the bartender, was amazing. She was friendly, attentive, and really made sure we were taken care of the entire time. Great service, great food, and a laid-back, welcoming atmosphere. If you’re in the area, don’t miss this spot—it’s absolutely worth a visit.

I love it here so much . I always feel welcomed me and my peers I’m always greeted as soon as I walk in me and my coworkers usally go after a long day of work we love coming in and seeing our favorite Bar tender Mari he is one of the kindest bar mangers I know. He always caters to his customers and that’s what keeps me coming back .. also i notice when he’s busy, he sends one of his staff members over, which are amazing people to help us when he can’t get right to us. The staff is amazing to many to name They keep the place clean as well.

Traveling for work, was in the mood for fried fish – found this place on Yelp. The food was amazing – fresh, hand battered shrimp and catfish. Kels was my server and he was stellar – friendly and attentive. Great place! I’ll definitely come back if work brings me here again!

Had another good lunch at The Twisted Crab. Got my normal – 1/2 lb shrimp no head, 1/2 lb sausage, extra potatoes / twisted sauce medium. Very good and love using the gloves for no mess at the end.

This place is absolutely fantastic! My husband and I ordered a seafood boil bag for each of us and oh my gosh it was full of crab legs, shrimp, sausage, potatoes, corn on the cob , I had the butter garlic and my husband had the Cajun sauce! This was the best fresh seafood we have ever had! Our waitress Bella was amazing! Took great care of us! Highly recommend them! We eat there again every time we come to Hampton VA!!! The young man who seated us was so nice and friendly!
