2/14/26 — Food is decent but INSANELY overpriced. $125 Valentine’s Day dinner includes salad, choice of entree (NY strip, filet mignon, seafood platter or the lobster tails and choice of potato (baked, french fries or Au Gratin).

Service was wonderful, atmosphere is nice and the live piano is nice but nowhere near worth the $300+ for a couple.

As others have said when it’s not a holiday their menu is very plain with your choice of protein cost $78 and potato extra $12 and veggies for $14.

Just be prepared to drop $250+ on a mediocre meal you’re better off going to Crabby’s or Frenchy’s for a better meal and much, much cheaper!

Beachcomber Restaurant in Clearwater was amazing! The staff was incredibly accommodating and Jeff was an outstanding waiter—friendly, attentive, and truly made the experience special. It was also my birthday, and the Baked Alaska was hands-down the best dessert I’ve ever had. Great food, great service, and a wonderful atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back!

Came here for a young friend’s 21st birthday. The wait staff was fantastic very attentive and friendly. The salds were good but lacked dressing, we had to requested more. My son ordered the escargot for an appetizer. There was an over abundance of cheese an onions and the snells themselves were rather small. My wife had surf and turf and when they say petite filet they mean it. The portion size of that piece of meat was small. She said the lobster on the cruise ship we just got off was much better than that she was served. To me that is pathetic, that lobster should have been perfectly. How can cruise ship serving over 1000 lobsters at a meal do it better than a restaurant serving maybe 200 lobsters?
My son and I both had New York strip, it was cooked perfectly but had no flavor at all, it reqired a good amountof salt and pepper to give it some flavor. Both our cuts of meat had quite a bit of fat and gristle. The mash potatoes needed help they were dry and and needed an ample amount of salt and pepper as did the steak. The birthday girl was offered a complimentary desert for her birthday but nobody else was offered the choice to purchase one. For the price of dinner and the 20 percent gratuity I could go to any chain steak house restaurant multiple times and have more flavorful food and better cuts of meat. In my opinion food quality was poor and overpriced. I will not recommend this establishment to friends or family visiting the area…

We went for dinner to celebrate our Anniversary and had a very delightful experience. The service is outstanding and also is the food. We ordered the escargots and the scallops for appetizers, they were delicious, especially the escargots. As a main dish we ordered the Lobster tails, which were also so savory, they bring it with melted butter but it doesn’t need it, they came accompanied by fresh vegetables that were so tender. To finish we had the Key Lime Pie which was very good as everything else. The ambience was so nice, with a pianist playing so delicate. I highly recommend this place.

Quality and service has gone down over the years. Not to mention the menu selection and variety does not stand behind the prices. I was there for my daughter’s Bday ; the filet mignon was dry as a rock and when replaced with a clam chowder a piece of parchment paper was found in the soup. Terrible experience and will not go back any time soon. I guess the owner needs a wake up call or she will be closing the place soon.

My son took me here for Mother’s Day dinner and wow it was a treat. I had the grouper and my son had the fillet.!! The piano player was so elegant and the music was so great we definitely tipped her… But our drinks and our food were so amazing. Then we finished it off with baked Alaska and our waiter was so friendly and we had a really wonderful time we were dressed casually and everyone welcome to us and it is such a nice restaurant, but the food quality was amazing. Definitely recommend.!!

The atmosphere is incredible. Old school piano bar from the 50’s. The menu is decent but limited and a little overpriced. We had an excellent wedge salad. The crab cakes that were a little bland. The seafood platter was good. Very tasty grouper and scallops. The red snapper was great also. The asparagus was well liked by our group.
They had a great selection of whiskey and the bartender had a heavy pour.
We shared key lime pie for dessert. The flavor was excellent but the crust was too hard.

Overall we enjoyed ourselves and even sang along with the piano!

It’s very sad for us to give this one star review, Because this has been a place, we have Frequented for many, many years, and would be considered almost regulars. On coming in this season, we were going to order our favorite, delicious roast chicken. Not sure of the exact price, but I believe It was normally 30/35 dollars for chicken, potatoes, gravy, stuffing, coleslaw, and a vegetable. We were told that the Price had now gone to $40 but here’s the kicker… It’s only the chicken now. If you want potatoes and gravy, that’s an extra 10 bucks, if you want vegetable that’s an extra 12 to 14 bucks. No mention of coleslaw or dressing anymore. So to get a roast chicken dinner with the fixings, bwould be almost $70! Don’t get me wrong, We don’t mind spending good money for good food. But $70 for a chicken dinner is absolutely absurd!! And regarding the atmosphere, after the hurricanes, it was left with a horrible smell of mildew/mold that is Horrible for me. My husband doesn’t notice it as much as I do, but I am very sensitive to that odor. Again, very sad to leave this review, but someone’s not paying attention to things that really matter to the clientele.
