Absolutely MASSIVE PORTIONS!

Come hungry- leave stuffed!!

Not your average Chinese food, it’s more latin Chinese fusion.

Ambiance inside is positive, staff is uber friendly!

Seriously the portions here are huge! Two people can easily share a combo or you’re definitely going to have left overs.

The tostones are strong in the garlic flavor.

La Borichina – Waterbury ️

Service was great and very fast.
The food came out hot and freshly made.

The sweet and sour chicken was perfect—drenched in sauce yet still crispy. Paired with the mofongo, it had amazing flavor. Definitely a favorite.

My hubby had the pepper steak, which was soft, tender, and full of flavor. He ordered the plantains with garlic, and they were fresh and delicious.

The restaurant itself is clean, well-organized, and a good size for dining in.
There’s ample parking and it’s conveniently located close to the highway.

We’ll definitely be back. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

First time visiting Borichina. We were a group of four looking for authentic Puerto Rican flavor, and I can say it was close enough—it satisfied the craving without me being too picky.

We ordered fried chicken, orange chicken, and Mongolian beef, all served with rice and fries, plus tostones with garlic on the side. The tostones weren’t homemade, but they were decent. Portions were generous, and the overall flavor was good.

For drinks, we had acerola juice, a piña colada topped with a cherry, and a Coke Zero. To finish, we shared a cheese flan that was absolutely delicious.

The staff was friendly, the bathrooms were clean, and the prices were very reasonable—about $15 per plate. Overall, it was a satisfying meal, and I would definitely come back.

The only thing that was worth it was the fried chicken.
This place is a huge disappointment.
Absolutely overrated and overpriced.
Tostones al ajillo tasted awful. Super oily and the garlic most likely came in a jar. Not even fresh.
I cannot belive we just paid $69.00 for this because is not that good yall.
Staff made it so concussive too…

Fried chicken is the only thing I suggest.

Besides good service and atmosphere I must say that the food was a disappointment. We drove 2 hours from Boston to try this place out and we were not happy after we got our food. We ordered 2 combination plates with pepper steak and It didn’t even look like peppered steak, the meat was gummy and the taste was terrible. It also came with fries all in one container. They could at least serve the fries in a different container so they stay fresh and crunchy and were soggy instead. My mom left with an upset stomach. I also ordered a lo mein with steak and we had to remove the steak. I ordered a mofongo with shrimp and when I opened it the mofongo was all wet from whatever liquid was in bottom of container. Food presentation was very different from what they had on menu board. The only food item that was good was the orange chicken even tho my sister ordered sesame instead. I can keep going but to say the least it was a horrible experience and we will never go back there again.

The food is very similar to the Chinese food from Puerto Rico and is very very good and the service is very good and attention from staff very good, But!!!! I have one Big problem with both of the times I went to dine in 1 and carry out 1 other time is that both times I asked if they would sell separately some items of the menu and they wont sell any meat or some items off the menu separately for example “garlic tostones or the bbq spare ribs” they would sell just rice separately ‍♂️ also last time when we had carry out we ordered the fried chicken it was good but it was Salty as hell other than that the place and most of the food is great the piñacolada is awesome too loved it
