I’ve been in the clay subway many times and had many issues. Now that they have an employee named Joyce I never have to worry!! My grandson has alpha-gal which means he highly allergic to red meat and dairy, Joyce goes above and beyond to make sure there is no cross contamination and every time is so nice to us!! We’ve had so many issues with his allergy and people being rude to us. Just want to say thank you Joyce, and please give her a raise she deserves it!!

My first time visiting Clay County, West Virginia and from the moment I stepped in this Subway restaurant, they greeted me with friendly smiles and welcoming hellos. JR and Sarah went above and beyond to service me and my family and make suggestions for our meals. Extremely nice and our food was 10/10 recommend! They do have a toaster and it works, I saw a previous comment saying no toaster, that must be fixed now bc our subs were toasted and delicious! The two workers were exceptionally nice and every recommendation they suggested and we tried made our experience that much more enjoyable and the food too! They were so patience and nice to my son, brother, and all of us. Thanks for such an amazing experience and delectable food!

This place is always understaffed and can’t hold on to good workers. I’ve stopped by a couple of times and depending on who was working how well my food and lunch experience went. I have felt sorry in the past because of them not having a enough of workers working, but after witnessing a worker named Rosie belittling one of their trainees I understood why they were always understaffed. They need better management to deal with their rude employees. I witnessed her talking trash to a young worker then try to work her charm and a customer. Bad business to witness employees crying. I felt so sorry for her and the community needs to know not to let their young adults to work here.

I’ve been here 30 minutes waiting on 2 subs. The resturant is severely understaffed. I’ve watched the employee go from taking orders holding a clip board and pen to making sandwiches without changing gloves. Don’t waste your time, just go to Gino’s.

Our subs were really good this time, except they put the wrong bread on each sub. The raspberry cheesecake cookies are amazing. We will go back for sure.

Not bad service, the vegetables are fresh and changed appropriately as they should be. However I advise to avoid the male worker on shift near noon or after, due to his attitude not being ideal for the work place with the public. I was frequently cut off while trying to explain my sandwich details by him trying to draw assumptions of what I wanted. He didn’t even smile, rather he treated me like an assembly line object. I was the only one in line too, so that isn’t an excuse for why he rushed so hard. Finally he only put 3 black olives on my entire foot-long sandwich and that’s just downright wrong..

Friendly faces, nice people, and good fast food. I don’t see what’s not to love about this Subway if your ordering too go but if you’re eating in your better off going somewhere else. It seams like they never clean the table or floor. However I could of just caught them on a bad day but I don’t thank that’s the case myself it looked like they had bold up on everything.
