This was a wonderful experience all together! The service was great, made you feel like part of the family. The food was perfect, just so amazing, we tried 3 apps, 4 dinners, and 2 desserts, with 2 bottles of wine… and everything was so good. We met the chef and chatted with her and her husband for a bit after dinner. This was our first experience here but we will be back for sure.

Located just off Brandon Boulevard (Highway 60) in Brandon, Tasty Venues is a hidden gem crafting authentic Italian dishes that truly delight. We stumbled upon this wonderful restaurant by chance and couldn’t be happier that we did. With a seasonal menu, Tasty Venues ensures every dish is homemade, made-to-order, and bursting with the freshest flavors. The atmosphere is both lively and inviting, blending the charm of a cozy restaurant with a specialty shop offering international food items and a few quirky Florida keepsakes, adding a unique character to the experience.
Our meal began with some exceptional mocktails, including a zero-proof Aperol spritz that nailed the classic flavor — highly recommended! Next, we indulged in the bread board and il tagliere. The bread board introduced us to an array of Italian breads, including unique varieties like pinsa, while the il tagliere featured generous servings of exquisite cheeses, olives, and prosciutto.
For our main courses, I enjoyed both the Cinque Terre (snapper with a zesty lemon caper sauce) and the Rossini (eggplant gnocchi). The snapper was incredibly fresh, and the sauce was a vibrant blend of lemon and capers. The eggplant gnocchi was delightfully tender, infused with rich tomato flavor. My wife opted for the Vietri — a bright, lemon-scented risotto with scallops that was absolutely bursting with flavor.
Although we were already quite full, we couldn’t resist trying dessert. We chose the Balmoral and the day’s special, a blondie. The Balmoral was a delightful surprise, balancing a savory basil panna cotta with a luscious lemon curd. The blondie, with its hints of cardamom and other spices, was elevated far beyond any we’ve tasted before.
Tasty Venues is a must-visit for anyone seeking an authentic Italian dining experience with a touch of local charm. We can’t wait to return!

This restaurant scores a 10 out of 10 in my book!! My boyfriend and I went to experience the special called “Blind Date with Italian Food”. This meal not only surpassed my expectations, but each bite was even more flavorful than the previous. We are definitely going to look into her cooking classes and this will be our new favorite date night location. I will be returning soon with my mother to treat her to these impressive Italian dishes. You can tell each dish is made from scratch with quality in mind, if you have not been then you’re missing out.

Truly a gem! This is not American-Italian, it is traditional Italian cuisine. The venue is very country chic and even has a little store in it. The staff is outstanding. We had the homemade Burrata w/salad appetizer which was to die for! The paella was a beautiful presentation and outstanding dish (very large) and Mediterranean meatballs with mushrooms and spinach was over the top! I highly suggest stopping for dinner!

A wonderful dining experience. The perfect place for date night or to celebrate a special occasion. Not intended for young children. No kids menu or children under 10 admitted. Delicious, traditional Italian cuisine served from a seasonal menu. Excellent wine and beer selections as well. Very relaxing and welcoming atmosphere. The staff really makes you feel welcome and enhance the dining experience. We definitely will return.

The entire thing was a vibe from the food to the ambience I was transported to Italy. The food was incredible, and I am a very picky. I have traveled all over the world, so I know how food from their respective countries should taste. The service was fantastic. The chef puts her heart and soul into all the food. I had the chef sampler and it was so good i forgot to take a picture of it. It was a bean soup, meat with mashed potatoes, and a mushroom risotto. All was to die and the portions were very good. I think i have found my Italian spot in Tampa. Probably one of the best here.

Well I gave this place a second chance and they pulled it out. We had a great dining experience. From the moment we were greeted at the door to be handed off to our waiter Mark the staff made it great. The appetizer special was burrata. The tomatoes and fresh pesto again made it so tasty. The pork tenderloin dish and the veal scallopini were excellent and nice sized portions. We got the cheesecake to go. A glass of white wine and 2 Prosecco cocktails with nibbles we got out for around $150 with tip. Highly recommended.
