This quickly became my favorite restaurant during my vacation. The food is delicious. I’m a huge seafood lover, and I honestly don’t think I’ve ever had anything as good as what I’ve eaten here. The staff is so friendly and welcoming, and the service is impressively fast. There was no wait time.On our last visit, my sister and I shared the Louisiana steam pot with calamari, and it was absolutely amazing. I’m already looking forward to coming back the next time I’m in town!

A little unsuspecting spot for some really good food. Don’t sleep on this restaurant!
My husband and I split the Caribbean Mix (appetizer sampler platter) and a shrimp and catfish platter. Overall, it was a fantastic meal. The super stars were the shrimp empanada (cheesy, shrimpy, soooo good), fried cheese, and hushpuppies. But everything else was good too. I really liked the breading on the fried fish and it was fried perfectly!
Our friends ordered calamari (done very well!), a chicken sandwich, and a seafood boil. They were pleased with everything they ordered.
Portion sizes were appreciable. Service was wonderfully. And the food was good enough to go back again and again!
Did I mention the shrimp empanada?

We stopped there a couple weeks ago and we were pleasantly surprised!! The waitress was very nice and helpful. She also made our experience there delightful. We were able to talk to her about her time living near Duluth, Mn at Lutsen. The shrimp and crab dish we shared was also amazing!!

This restaurant is outstanding. The service provided by Mike was a 10 out of 10. The menu was small and straight forward. What the menu does not say is the food is made with absolute love and plenty season!!! I cleaned my plate!! The food was seriously amazing. Made fresh to order. I definitely will return. Thanks again Mike.

Right in Downtown, among many other, upscale restaurants. My wife and I were impressed that this tiny little shrimp restaurant competes with the restaurant right across the street that requires a dress code to enter. We were pleasantly surprised that you could just walk in off the street in beach attire, and order all your seafood favorites, no reservations needed. Additionally, we entered right at closing time, and they still seated us and served us! You can also order to go! The food was insanely good and fairly priced. I definitely recommend the shrimp po boy!

Everything was wonderful. My sister and I stopped by for a lunch. We had the Louisiana steam pot and calamari. The portions were generous; the amount of food you get for the price was excellent. The food tasted fantastic. When we asked for extra hot sauce, we got the perfect one. The service was great. It’s a budget-friendly and stomach-friendly place in every way. I highly recommend it and I’m sure I’ll be back.

Delightful place, not crowded. Excellent service and nice atmosphere. I’m surprised it wasn’t busier. I had blackened grouper, salad, hush puppies, my husband had monfongo. He really enjoyed it.

If not for the service, this place would be a solid 10! The atmosphere is nice, the food was very good and great portions. I highly recommend the Florida Steam Pot! It was not only delicious, but well portioned. They do not have free parking, but do have a paid parking option, which we didn’t necessarily appreciate. As far as service, Dianaa rushed us to order, then failed to remove the appetizer plates, and acted as if we were the problem when the dinner dishes came out and she didn’t have room to place them. We also had to waive to her and ask for refills because she did not revisit the table and the restaurant only had approximately 4 tables with more than one waitress. She was still tipped 20% for that service, which is probably why she provides that type of service.

What a treasure! We stopped to this restaurant on our way to a cruise out of Tampa. The server was very friendly and suggested some great entrees for us to try. Everything was great but those oysters were definitely something to talk about forever. They were fried perfectly. I don’t like my seafood to be fried too hard with a lot of batter and these were absolutely perfect.
The fried calamari was delicious and the hush puppies were great also.
I will absolutely stop by again the next time I am in the city.
