After being on the road for hours, all you really want is a solid break and a good meal, and that’s exactly what we found at Fiesta en Jalisco Mexican Restaurant.
What a surprise. Not only was the food delicious, but the place itself is beautifully decorated. Every table is hand-painted (I can tell than I’m an artist too) with authentic Mexican iconography, and the entire restaurant feels like a colorful little pueblito in fiesta mode. Even the restroom deserves its own review fully decorated with real Mexican tiles and attention to details that you don’t usually see.
Despite being located in gorgeous Livingston, Montana, once you’re inside it honestly feels like stepping into a small town in Mexico.
As for the food: I had the tortilla soup (so good), one of my colleagues ordered shrimp, and another went for a huge quesadilla. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and well prepared. And the service five stars!
Yes, I focused a lot on the atmosphere but make no mistake, the food absolutely delivers too. The place was very busy when we visited around 7:20 pm, and now you know exactly why.
Highly recommended if you’re passing through Livingston.

Beautiful restaurant with all the authentic Mexican vibes you could want. Received our food very fast after ordering, and Carmen was an extremely responsive and excellent waitress. I personally had the Pollo a la Crema and it was delicious!

The food was delicious. One of the best carnita plate and fish tacos I’ve had. However, food portions are abnomally large. 1 plate can feed 2 people, so be aware when ordering.

The reviews for this restaurant looked promising, but failed. I had high hopes after walking inside because the atmosphere was glorious. Bright, vivid colors filled the restaurant. Too bad the food was dark and dim. The chips were stale. I asked for another basket and those too were stale(or at least tasted like it). We ordered the pork enchiladas, Camerones Jalisco, and soft taco and was displeased. The pork was very dry and not very flavorful. On a positive note, the rice and beans were excellent.For the price of the food, I expected much better quality ingredients than what we were served. The day we went was around 40° outside, but the restaurant was kept way too hot. It was miserable inside. I had a displeasing experience with our server as well. She wasn’t very attentive and when asked for straws, chips, napkins, etc. she would make it seem like it was some large task for her to do. For lack of words, she was lazy. Overall, the atmosphere it great but the quality of the food and service was a bit discouraging.

Chimichigas were very good, was a wonderful meal we enjoyed our time in montana.there place was decorated for the day of the dead was really neatly decorated have to check it out.

We loved the food here. We ordered the carne asada and the carnitas platter. Both were super sized and delicious. We also ordered a margarita, but it was not great. It was a lot of sour mix and barely any tequila. Server was ok, not very attentive even though it wasn’t as busy when we went. We did have a bus boy who checked in on us when we were done. Whoever he was, he was the saving grace for service. There were some intoxicated patrons too that weren’t pleasant to watch. Maybe the servers and bartenders need to keep an eye out more closely.
