During my busy travels, I have a little ritual: I like to find a local bar and indulge in their cheeseburger and fries. Recently, I stumbled upon Gnarly Barley, a charming spot known for its impressive sandwiches, but my main focus was the burger.
Let me tell you, this burger is a delight–it’s messy, which I love! I’m a big fan of pickles, so I always ask for extra on my burger, adding an extra layer of flavor. The weather was perfect that day, so I decided to sit outside at the bar, enjoying the view of the street. The atmosphere was lively, with multiple TV screens showcasing Orlando’s teams, making it a great spot for sports fans. Overall, I’d say Gnarly Barley has nailed the classic burger experience, and I can’t wait to return!

Ordered DD to Advent Hospital on the same street (Princeton Ave). “Food” arrived, if you can call it that, cold and missing everything. Grilled cheese sandwich was ice cold and chewy. No chips. Cold fries. My beef sandwich HAD NO BEEF ON IT, NO HORSERADISH SAUCE, NO AU JUS DIPPING SAUCE. NO CHIPS. All that for only $45! How on earth do you send out a beef sandwich with zero beef. Will NEVER order again. I recommend you don’t either.
Reply: After a very long day at the hospital and a second surgery in 10 days for my GF we were excited to order some good looking food from your business. We had to eat and I had to find something else so I didn’t bother calling the restaurant to try and correct it. You see evidence of “beef juice?” I’m not making this up. But thanks for making jokes. Good luck with that attitude as a business owner. SMH

Swung in looking for a local sandwich shop. Nice setup and venue. Had alot of tv’s on for college football which was great. Sat at the bar, bar tender was very personable and attentive. Ordered a few drinks and 2 sandwiches from the menu. The Cuban and brisket cheesesteak. Both were really good, only flaw for me was that the brisket could have used some sort of sauce. It was a bit dry. Overall great place.

Stumbled across this spot while working in area. Very unique interesting venue. Dined alone and was forgotten but after apology went smoothly.
Watermelon Nachos were amazing along with the brisket cheese steak melt. Bar set up and how loud it was can lead to people being missed.

Good was incredible. Service was the best. We ordered and mentioned sharing sandwiches and when the food came each person had their own 1/2. When I mentioned how great that was, the manager said that they will actually mix and match if you order different things. Incredible guest service when normally that would be considered an imposition. Beer selection also awesome!

I’ve really enjoyed every sandwich I’ve tried here, all delicious, been many times. Last had the chicken philly which was delicious. Pricing always feels super fair which is a great bonus these days. Love being able to see the magic on TV here too without such a noisy environment either compared to other places. Going to keep coming back!

We had a great time, stopped to get lunch and had the Bulgogi sandwich and Caesar salad. Both was so delicious and the sandwich was the best thing ever. I love the sourdough that they use and kimchi fits so well inside, the fries were so crispy and yummyyy. Alex took care of us and he was great!!
