I can’t say enough about how great this restaurant is! My wife and I along with my daughter had lunch today after a Drs appointment and we were blown away with the great food and great service we received. Oh my goodness. This place is in the top 10 best breakfasts I have ever had. Their country chicken was absolutely incredible! Perfectly cooked, juicy on the inside and crunchy on the outside fried chicken, flavorful creamy gravy, crumbly delicious biscuit…They even gave me extra gravy because I couldn’t get enough!!! I will be dreaming of this meal until I come back next year. Props to the chefs!

This place blew me away with their outstanding service and food. The locals/regulars were all very friendly. I ordered the angry skillet and added sausage gravy, it was the best breakfast I’ve had in a long time! They also had this giving wall where customers pay for someone’s else’s meal for someone in need.

Only in town for the night I live in Grand Rapids, just wanted to get something quick and unique. The service was excellent, my servers name was Susie, her and another gal were serving the entire dining room and were constantly zipping around and staying busy, very friendly girls! ( I would hire them both in my restaurant. )The food was so good I might have to come back on my way down. The hand made chicken tenders were probably the best chicken tenders I’ve ever had. I also got a burger and that was excellent as well. The atmosphere in there made me want to look into moving here. Thanks again Susie !

First time traveling this way. Read the reviews and decided to check it out.
We had breakfast. I had the chicken fried steak with white gravy. Also hashbrowns and I asked for the white gravy to go on my hashbrowns. The chicken fried steak was flavorful and stayed crispy even with the gravy. I liked that. I also had some coffee which was pretty good coffee. Nice and strong.
When walking in it definitely has a small town diner feel. I would say everyone seemed nice, but I felt like the staff could of used more upbeat customer service. As we didn’t get a warm welcome at first. But after we got our meals it seemed the waitress warmed up some and was a bit more welcoming. Again it’s not just about the food but also customer service.
My eating partner had the biscuits and gravy. And the sausage gravy I would rate high. The top 5 places of the best sausage gravy.
I would probably get the sausage gravy on my hashbrowns next time instead of the white gravy. It just had a great flavor.
You definitely get more food for what its worth. Spent about $22.00 dollars for two of us. And that’s a good deal. I would eat here again if I was passing through.

This is a simple, traditional, family style diner serving the usual selections. What makes it good is that they do it so well. Fast, friendly service. We both noticed that fried dishes were done just right, neither under- nor over-cooked, not excessively greasy. Recommended!

Great breakfast, great service and an all around nice experience. Our waitress was Mel. She was on top of her game. Friendly and very helpful with recommendations. The blueberry pancakes with nuts of course for my way were more than one person could eat. All the food ordered was delicious, hot and tasty. Highly recommended
