I went to Genoa specifically to try this restaurant whilst I travelled through Italy during Christmas. I was served by Barbi, who was very polite and friendly, also she spoke perfect English so was able to explain the menu in detail. The seafood was amazing and the price was very good for high quality food. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

The food gets 10 stars and the price 15 stars.
The food was not normal! And at such a reasonable price.
Right at the beginning we got a delicious rose as a welcome drink. Since everything on the menu was so delicious, we asked for advice and so some dishes were recommended to us. We ordered 2 different pastas and wanted to split them, so they were served and right away in separate plates. Then we got our steak . It was sooo delicious! After that we ordered 1 dessert each.

The service was very friendly and professional. The restaurant always waited patiently until we were done with our dishes and always got our plates and table ready for the next meal.

A must visit when in the area .

I enjoyed the hole in the wall ambient from this place. I saw some locals stopping by for a quick meal plus some tourists. The hostess spoke limited English but expect not much. The menu is handwritten in Italian only. I suggest to study it in advance. (Attached) I liked that the chef actually serves the food since it’s not a big restaurant and also checks on you whether you liked the dish or not. Genova is the origin of basil pesto so I recommend trying some pesto pasta. I wish I could try the fried seafood that many ordered at the restaurant but I was alone and I couldn’t eat so much. I’ll try that next time!

Great place. I had only a seafood platter and a tiramisu but they made me want to try other dishes. Fish and shrimp were fresh and savory. Tiramisu was so thick and delicious, and I’ve tried my fair share. Loved the ambience. The place seems to be a local favorite of the elderly, and you can always count on them being on to something.

Very tasty food.Maybe the best restaurant in Genoa. We wanted a lactose-free dish, and the chef came to ask us what would be suitable for cooking. A very nice gesture. He prepared us a kind of pasta with tomato sauce and tuna. The lady who serves is so kind. Low prices.

One of the best place I’ve ever been. Food is just amazing. Product is local and high quality, and the prices are so good. They serve a daily menu with two dishes, drinks and coffee.

The price is cheaper than the city center in Genoa and they do serve a great pasta with hoemade pesto sauce here. The suggested menu is great and they do seek your feedback from time to time when you finished each of your dishes. Location is a bit far and you will have to walk some distant from Brignole station but definitely worth it.

A nice location with a menu changing every day, I told the chef that I will eat whatever he chooses, I especially liked the ravioly with seabas and clams, I was full after the second plate so I skipped the sweets, overall nice staff and a chef in contact with his costumers.
