Went there with the family for a niece’s birthday last Sunday, 8th Feb 2026–the service, whether from Host William or Chef BJ, was absolutely incredible!
But before I get to the praise, there is ONE thing that needs to be critiqued: the entire family ordered ginger dressing with their pre-meal salad, as is tradition in an establishment such as this. When the salads came out my mother and I instantly saw this stark white dressing on the salad and politely stopped William with, “We’re sorry, but we ordered ginger dressing.” William politely answered that this was the ginger dressing, and that they’d changed the ginger dressing a little while back. It was a far cry from looking like a traditional Ginger dressing, one with chopped or grated Ginger and a bright brownish orange color. We ate it, of course, but it was the strangest, weakest ginger dressing I’ve ever had. I understand there are white ginger dressings out there at some restaurants, but the ones I have had were bright and garlicky. This one seemed like it was cut with mayonnaise, lacked tanginess, and there was only a HINT of ginger flavor. NOT good. Please, to the ownership and management of Taki, RETURN TO TRATIONAL GINGER DRESSING, and for the sake of your business and customer base, RETURN TO IT AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
Now, on to the praise!! William was right on the money with his hosting duties, sitting us, taking orders, making refills, pre-bussing, friendliness, politeness. Chef BJ was what you hope for in a hibachi grill master: Friendly, great sense of humor, great communicator with not only me but everyone in the group, insanely talented with his knife skills and classic tricks. I said it was my 2-yr-old nephew’s first time at a hibachi and that he loved the fire, and Chef BJ laid on the fire more times than he had to, and it was AMAZING. Great man! The facility was decorated appropriately and more importantly, VERY CLEAN! Would definitely return, either with the wife, friends or family!

I arrived on a Friday evening at approximately 9:50 PM 12/26/2025. This establishment typically closes at 10:30 PM. I inquired with an employee, who informed me that they were already closed. I also observed another customer entering the premises and receiving service. You have to do better as business owners. I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone. If I could rate the customer service, it would be a negative zero.

I was craving a spicy tuna roll, so my boyfriend and I stopped in by here for the first time! We like hibachi, but we didn’t want to sit at the hibachi tables, and luckily they had many tables for those who want a more quiet meal like us. The staff were very friendly and all smiles, and very attentive to remove finished plates off our table. Hibachi was DELICIOUS, and they made a tasty medium rare steak :). Their spicy tuna rolls are also large compared to other restaurants I’ve been to! We left satisfied and full and would love to come back again in the future!

This place is amazing! Top tier customer service from the moment you arrive to the time you leave! So far we’ve been to this location twice for hibachi and neither time have I left disappointed! The portion sizes are pretty large and the prices are very affordable. All the food was fresh, flavorful and delicious! The drinks were strong and listed for a great price! When I say we found our new hibachi spot just know we will soon become regulars . They also sell bracelets and other accessories by the register which my daughter loved, so we bought a few now she wants more. The atmosphere is very warm and inviting so if you’re looking for a hibachi location that will leave you feeling full and satisfied, this restaurant is definitely a MUST!

We’ve been ordering Pick-Up for a while now and they never fail to satisfy! They always get our order correct and staff are so friendly. Such an ease to order through the phone. Our usual are the Sashimisss! Tiger Roll and Lobster King Crab Roll. When we do dine in, we really enjoy the hibachi show! Def need bacon fried rice and they over flow your plates – portion size are huge. Highly recommend to family & friends!

I bought a catered sized pan of rice for 53 dollars on jan 24th. I had some left over and went to eat some on the 26th and noticed when I took it out it was thin white strings when I scooped some rice. I immediately called to see if I could get a partial credit. The manager told me he will not be able to give a credit and that the rice doesn’t last 2 days. I asked him to explain why and he said “maybe it was the spoon u used” ???? He then said it’s time for him to close his store and hung up the phone.

Good was okay, big portion, but tasted so so. It took us very long to get the chef came to our table. The waiter acted like he couldn’t care less, he came took our soup like 5 mins after its served when I was still working on it, the chef was not coming I didnt understand the point of taking away the soup bowls so early while there is no food served

Enjoyed eating here! Service was good! Soup and salad was good! Vegetable roll was good! Pan Fried dumplings were delicious! Filet Mignon was very good! Bacon fried rice was good! Vegetables were fresh! French martini was good!

The food was good although we wish our cook had did more hibachi cooking tricks for the large party we had. The service was not so great! Got there for a 3:00 p.m. reservation for a party of nine. Upon arriving, we were told by the host that he needed to go prepare the table. 15 minutes later we were still waiting with no update on when we would be seated. Keep in mind we were the only ones in the restaurant and the restaurant had opened at 12:00 that day so there should not have been any delay. The server finally came to the table to get our drink orders and food orders. There were multiple times that we had to wait for our server at that time to come back to refill drinks. After the cook was done, preparing our meal no more than 5 minutes. Afterwards, a new server came to the table asking if we wanted boxes? I had to inform the server that we literally just started eating our food and she seemed to have an attitude about that as though she wanted to rush us out of the restaurant, even though at this time there were maybe only two other tables that had arrived. She didn’t once ask if anybody needed refills or if we needed anything else. At one point my husband had to go back up to the bar just to ask for a refill for Coke. Kudos to the cook for serving a delicious meal. However, the service needs to be better for the restaurant in my opinion!
